“What the fuck did Aurelio ask you to do?”

Cillian pulls his phone from his pocket and hands it over to me.

I turn on the screen, tap on a video sent via text, and hit play.

It’s footage from last night.

It’s from a phone camera, filmed at an angle somewhere down in the garden, aiming up at the balcony.

The lighting is dark, but the silhouette of two men fucking against the pillar is unmistakable.

Then the video cuts to the two of us walking toward the railing. The balcony lights hit us, making our faces one hundred percent recognizable.

I watch us kiss, laugh, and then see myself helping him down over the balcony ledge.

Oh, shit!

I press back and read the text message from Aurelio.

He’s threatening to release the video to the press, ruin the charity auction, and get me fired and blacklisted from the security industry forever… Unless Cillian publicly agrees to get back together with him tonight.

Getting back together?!

And Cillian is going to go along with this?

Fuck no.

I look up from the screen at Cillian. “What the fuck did you mean by ‘I’ll do what Aurelio asks’?”

“I’ll go back to him. I won’t let him ruin your life, Knox.”

A strange wave of anger mixed with a sense of possessiveness I’ve never felt before washes over me.

The thought of Cil belonging to that man makes me lose my damn fucking mind.

Cillian won’t go back to Aurelio, or anyone else.

He is mine.

I grab the back of his neck, yank him forward, and kiss him with everything I have.

This time the kiss is rough, possessive, and desperate.

I taste his tears, and I pull back just enough to lock eyes with him, my grip on the back of his neck tightening.

“You are not going back to Aurelio.”

“Knox, but—”

“I don’t give a shit, Cillian,” I growl. “You’re not going back to him or anyone else.”

“But the video… Harknett can get into some serious legal issues.”

“Prince,” I whisper, kissing his cheeks. “You forget I’m a Harknett, and we Harknetts have a special weapon.”

“A bazooka?”

“Better… Alexios.” I say with a smile, double-tapping my earpiece. “Greek, what’s your 20?”
