I solve problem wait five minutes

gobblegoals (November 11, 2013): jfc I need to find a man who looks at me the way Dylan Everett looks at Alexei Sokolov after they score

turkeytalk (April 7, 2014): holy fuck this team is hot going into the playoffs. Sokolov finishes his first full NHL season with 101 points (33 goals, 68 assists). Everett finishes his second season with 112 points (65 goals, 47 assists). Sokolov has assisted on MORE THAN HALF of Everett's goals. THEY COMBINED FOR 213 POINTS THIS SEASON. The kids are alright.

abqturkeysnhl (June 11, 2014): BACK 2 BACK! Your Albuquerque Turkeys are the 2014 Stanley Cup Champions! Congrats to Captain Marcus Weiss, Playoff MVP Dylan Everett, and all the members of the Turkeys!

3 2014-2015 SEASON

gobblegoals (January 17, 2015): pls pls PLEASE can we re-sign both Everett and Sokolov for like a hundred more seasons? Both their contracts end this year, I will DIE if either of them leaves the Turkeys. I am dreading the off-season if they aren’t locked down……

abqturkeysnhl (May 3, 2015): The 3-PEAT dreams are over - the Turkeys fall in the second round to the Chicago Storm. Still a fantastic season for the Turkeys, who finished top in the Central Division, second in the Western Conference, and fourth in the league. Dylan Everett earned his third Rocket Richard Trophy in a row with an astounding 68 goals. This season might be over, but the future is bright!

abqturkeysnhl (June 21, 2015): The future is locked in long term. The Turkeys have signed Dylan Everett to a 12-year contract extension worth $114 million ($9.5M AAV), keeping the superstar goal-scorer in Turkeytown through his prime.

abqturkeysnhl (June 29, 2015): Another core piece of the Turkey puzzle has been secured - Alexei Sokolov is here to stay! The Turkeys have signed the ultra-talented Russian center to a 7 year $49 million ($7M AAV) contract. Sokolov’s talents as a playmaker and face-off specialist make him worth every penny.

↪ turkeytalk: WE HAVE AT LEAST SEVEN MORE YEARS OF EVERETT/SOKOLOV HALLELUJAH

Dylan (April 2015)

saw your contract extension - congrats

Alexei

Thank you. And congratulations on yours as well.

You finally gonna buy a place with that signing bonus?

I would prefer to stay with you

If possible

Yes. Very convenient location.

It is close to the rink.

Good roommate

I am pretty cool

Yes and you have a very good mouth

And hands.

And I hate packing.

4 2015-2016 SEASON

turkeytalk (March 16, 2016): Captain Marcus Weiss has been put on long-term injury reserve, taking him out for at least the rest of the regular season and probably all of the playoffs. He was set to retire at the end of the season… when the Turkeys name a new captain, it’s not an interim position. This’ll be Our Guy. Whoever it is. Thoughts?

↪ gobblegoals: Many. But c’mon, there’s only one correct answer to the question “Who’s the next Captain of the Albuquerque Turkeys?”
