We are good team and we can barely get wildcard spot
Then we lose to team we beat all the time regular season
Five games, almost a sweep
Am I supposed to be happy with this?
You can be upset but you have to put it in perspective
We’ve been playing nine years and won two cups
Some guys play their whole careers without that
And you can be a little happy that you get to play with your bff :)
That is small consolation when I have to watch players like Lars fucking Nilsson win the cup
He has played less than us but will have two cups soon
You think the prowlers will win it this year?
Look at who they are up against
There is no one in the east who can beat them
No one in the west either now that we are out
The prowlers beat us every game this season
Something needs to change. I cannot lose like this again. Is fucking embarrassing
Next season babe I’ll get you a cup
8 2021-2022 SEASON
turkeytalk (April 2, 2022): Another season, another lost opportunity. The Turkeys have officially been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the first time since 2012 that the Turkeys haven’t made the playoffs. They haven’t made it past the first round in the past three years. Something’s gotta give but no idea what - the team looks solid on paper, but it’s not gelling on the ice.
9 2022-2023 SEASON
turkeytalk (July 1, 2022): Happy Free Agency Day to those who celebrate! Watch me spend the whole day refreshing my feed to see who the Turkeys gain/lose. Not expecting a whole lot of movement, the Turkeys still have a solid core despite not making the playoffs in recent years.
↪ turkeytalk: W O W Barczyk from Rough Riders to Gliders. That is a good move for Philly.
↪ turkeytalk: Connor Hudson from Carolina to Austin. Always interesting when we see players move out west. Hudson’s a solid goalie, not looking forward to seeing him more than twice a season.
↪ turkeytalk: Swanson and Richards to Blue Crabs - crazy to see a D pair go together to a new team.
↪ turkeytalk: HOLY SHIT SOKOLOV LEFT ALBUQUERQUE :(((((((
chicagostormnhl (July 1, 2022): The Chicago Storm have signed Alexei Sokolov to a six-year $39 million deal ($6.5M AAV). Sokolov is a veteran player and one of the most consistent playmakers of his generation, he'll bring a lot of grit and offense to Chicago. Welcome to the team!
Dylan (July 2022)
Congrats on the new team
Were you ever going to tell me? Why’d I have to find out on fucking Instagram that my best friend’s leaving? You didn’t even say you were looking at other teams
