She closed the door behind her.
“Is that Sweet Magnolia?”
Luna sighed.
“Good morning to you too.”
Naomi dropped her bag behind the counter and walked straight toward us.
“I asked a question.”
“It is,” I said.
She opened the box and stared inside.
“You brought outside baked goods into my café?”
“I was told you might take it personally.”
Her eyes moved slowly toward Luna.
Luna lifted both hands. “I warned him.”
Naomi looked back at me.
Then she reached into the box and took a croissant.
“I’ll allow it.”
I nodded. “Appreciate that.”
She tore off a piece and pointed it at the laptop.
“What are we doing?”
“Apparently,” Luna said, “Ellis has decided my entire website is outdated.”
“I said the pictures were outdated.”
“Same thing.”
Naomi chewed thoughtfully. “He’s right.”
Luna stared at her.
“What? I’ve been telling you we need new pictures.”
I looked between them. “You two do this every morning?”
“Yes,” they answered at the same time.
I laughed.
Naomi pulled out the chair beside Luna and sat down.
“All right, photographer. Tell me what we’re changing.”
