“I hope it’s okay that I ordered in,” he said as he casually strode to the door, accepted the cart, and tipped the young woman who had delivered it. “I didn’t feel much like getting out this morning.”

“Hey, I got coffee. I’m not complaining,” Lizzie quipped, sliding into the chair he had just occupied with a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

Ace served them both before taking the seat across from her.

“Oh, you’re not going to feed me?” There was a teasing lilt in her voice, but he could tell she was also half serious.

“Depends, did you want your coffee?” He gestured to the mug she was currently holding to her lips. “Little girls have their Daddies feed them and Big girls get coffee. Your choice. Which is it gonna be?”

He loved when her eyes widened and bugged out. It was the cutest, and it happened so often. “I can feed myself,” she answered sweetly.

“That’s what I thought,” he hummed over the rim of his own mug. “Trust me, by lunch, you’ll be plenty Little and Daddy will feed you then.”

She sighed and nodded, obviously understanding the implication in his words. They finished their breakfast in companionable silence, occasionally commenting on their plans for the rest of the day. They’d never made it to the arcade or the bowling alley and she was still hoping to do both of those things.

“We might be able to fit that in,” Ace agreed. “If you’re still feeling up to it once I’m through with you.”

Her fork stopped halfway to her mouth, and she let out the most adorable little squeak. He could almost see her stomach sinking and her heart dropping to her toes. “I don’t wanna do one-point-five anymore,” she whimpered.

“I know. It’s not going to be pleasant, and we don’t have to do it, but we agreed together that this was the right thing, remember?”

Her chest heaved as she sucked in a slow breath and let it out before speaking. “I remember but… I technically didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Lying is wrong, always. But with no rules in place, you didn’t technically break a rule,” he corrected, setting his mug on the table and addressing her firmly. He fully understood why she was having second thoughts. He wasn’t even looking forward to it, and it wasn’t his ass on the line. “I’ll tell you what. After breakfast, we’ll sit down on the couch, and have a talk, and if you still want to change your mind after we talk, I will find a way to be okay with that.”

He expected relief, but instead her face fell and she shook her head. “I don’t need to talk. I know it was wrong, and I know it was stupid and I know dishonesty can be detrimental to a relationship. There may be technicalities this time, but I don’t want to be forgiven on a technicality, and risk you still harboring a bad taste in your mouth about the situation, resentment, or a fear I will lie again.” She sighed. “The truth is, I haven’t been in many great, healthy, honest relationships and if I get away with it, I’ll probably lie again. As much as I know it’s going to suck, I’d rather learn my lesson now, instead of both of us just waiting for the other shoe to drop.”

“Okay.” He nodded, fully at peace with her decision, and finished with his breakfast. He put his plate back on the cart, poured himself a second cup of coffee, and sat in silence with his thoughts while he waited for her to finish. When she finally pushed her plate away, he nodded to her cup. “More?”

She shook her head, a wince on her face. “I couldn’t. My tummy already feels upset and nervous as it is. I do need to uh… use the restroom though. And I… can I do it myself, please?”

His first instinct was to say no, but he’d seen how fast helping her use the bathroom could plummet her into Little space, and while he knew she would get there, he wanted it to happen gradually, because after her spanking, he was going to keep his word and fuck her sexy bottom, just as he’d promised. With that image in his head, he nodded, and waved his hand toward the bathroom. “Go ahead. And, Lizzie?”

“Hmmm?” She’d already jumped to her feet and was heading toward the bathroom, but she stopped in her tracks and looked at him over her shoulder.

“Bring my belt out when you’re done.” He’d left it hanging from the towel rack before their bath the night before.

Her face scrunched into an exaggerated wince. “Yes, Daddy.”

Lizzie

Even though taking the punishment was her choice, and one she’d made more than once, she stalled as long as she possibly could in the bathroom. After using the facilities, she washed her face, brushed her teeth, pulled her hair into a messy bun, then took the bun out because she knew Ace would probably want her hair down. She turned and lifted her shirt to look at her butt in their mirror, noting the two almost miniscule purple spots and wondering what kind of marks the belt would leave.

The belt. Ace’s belt. Daddy’s belt. It hung from the towel rack ominously, just waiting for her to pick it up and take it out to him. Just waiting to deliver punishing blows to her tender backside and impart its lesson. The thick black leather was at least an inch wide, and a half centimeter thick. The end was rounded with a shiny silver buckle attached at the other side.

She stared it down and could have sworn it stared back.

“Lizzie,” Daddy called, his fist rapping against the door. “You okay in there? Do you need Daddy’s help after all? Did you fall in?”

No, no, and no. With a sigh, she picked up the mean-looking strip of leather and let it hang folded over the palm of her hand. With her other hand, she flung the door open, only to come face to face with Ace’s fist inches away from her face, poised to knock again.

He immediately dropped his arm to his side, took the belt from her outstretched palm, and smiled. “There you are.”

She forced a half smile and stepped through the doorway back into the bedroom, refusing to look at the belt.

Ace took a seat on the couch and patted the cushion beside him. “Come over here. Let’s talk.”

She reluctantly sat, her skin bare under his tee, sticking to the leather. “I told you. I don’t need to talk. I made my decision and I’m not taking it back, no matter how much I might currently want to.”
