I glanced down and shrugged. Layton had seen me in all kinds of positions, which came with the best friend status, though this was a first because of his brother. He didn’t seem like he cared. “Yeah, I shot in my pants.”
He sighed dramatically. “Most dudes would pull their junk out.”
“I’m not most guys and you know it.” I grinned.
“Leave him alone,” Knox grumbled, sliding off the pullout, which creaked as he moved. He stood and shifted his cock in his boxers before he walked around to his brother. “What are you gonna do today?”
“Is that your way of asking if I’m going to evacuate the house so you can fuck my buddy?” Layton poked his tongue out and shoved his hands in his jeans pockets. I didn’t know where he’d gotten the clothes, but they looked a little too big on him, so I suspected they might be Knox’s. “I need to go home and sort out my shit. Hopefully, my landlord won’t blame me for this mess.”
I rubbed my hand over my face and sighed. This was all my fault. Jeremy was my ex and he was causing problems because he couldn’t drag me out of Sinful last night. Would he have hurt me? I didn’t know for sure, but a part of me wished I’d just let it happen. I didn’t want Layton and Knox in the middle of this. They were the only people I had left in my life, even if I hadn’t had much to do with Knox in the past.
“Don’t,” Knox growled out, and it took me a second to realize he was talking to me. He pointed a finger at my chest. “This isn’t your fault. It’s his. I told you that.”
“But if I hadn’t dated him—”
“If. Fucking if. It’s done, and now he’s the one causing bullshit, not you.” Knox squared his broad shoulders. He looked huge, the type of guy anyone sane wouldn’t mess with. I’d be lying if I said my cock didn’t twitch in interest—despite just coming. “That bastard was always trouble. So, now we deal with him together.”
Layton shifted closer to me. “What he said. Jeremy needs to learn what happens when he screws with you. You’re ours.”
“I know, I just . . . .” Hate the issues I’m causing. I didn’t say it, choosing to clamp my lips together. Layton and Knox were both protective, and no matter how much I argued, they wouldn’t back down. That was the kind of men they were—the opposite of Jeremy.
“Let me wipe down and get dressed, then you can do the same.” Knox smiled.
My stomach swooped in a way that left me floating. I watched him until he closed the bedroom door behind himself.
“You’ve got it bad.” Layton bumped his shoulder against mine. “Since when have you wanted my brother?”
I smirked toward him. “Since the moment I saw him. Have you seen that body and that damned smile? I’m a sucker for him. Plus, the hair!”
“Oh, you’re definitely a sucker for him. I heard every second of it.” He rolled his eyes. “Listening to my brother come isn’t the high point in my day.”
I chuckled. “It was for me.”
“Fucking gross, man.” Layton grinned anyway. “You should get that figured out.” He pointed at the wet patch on the sweatpants. “It’s not like you haven’t seen him naked. You literally had his dick in your mouth. Just go in there and clean up and tell him you want new clothes.” He shoved me toward the bedroom door, and I laughed as he let me go, heading in the direction of the kitchen.
I went through the door and into the attached bathroom, which I’d discovered last night had two entrances—one through the bedroom and the other near the dining table. Knox was in front of the sink, naked with a wet cloth that he was using to wipe himself down. He sent me a smirk when I stepped over the threshold.
“Hey,” he said.
“Hi.” I bumped my hip against his as I hooked my thumbs in the waistband of the sweatpants. I shoved them down to my ankles and stepped out of them. “You gonna help me?” I nodded toward the drying cum on my legs and in my pubic hair.
He chuckled. “The least I can do.”
I leaned against the bathroom vanity as he soaked the cloth and began to wipe me off. He took his time, cleaning me well. He left my cock until last, but he made sure to give it a good wash down before he stepped back to admire his work.
“Well done,” I teased.
He laughed. “Come on. I’ll find you some clothes.”
He gave me a pair of jeans that didn’t fall right off my hips and a white T-shirt that was too baggy on me—for some reason it read “Relentless” with a bat next to the word across the front—but it was better than nothing. He dressed in something similar, and by the time we came out of the bedroom, Layton had coffee ready and was slurping from his mug like his life depended on it.
I shook my head with a chuckle.
An echoing knock startled me, and my gaze shot to the front door.
Knox frowned and held up his hand. “Stay here.” He stalked to the door and yanked it open, his muscles stiff and fist clenched.
I froze at the sight of the men on the other side. Cops. The one standing in front was taller with a strong frame—almost as wide as Knox—and he had short golden blond hair. The stern expression on his face surprised a flinch out of me.
