Lukyan’s hands.

My jumpsuit hit the floor. I stepped out of it, leaving it there and climbed onto Lukyan’s bed. I set his phone up on the side table, making sure to zoom out so it would capture everything, leaving no question as to where it was taken— in his room, on his bed—and set the timer for ten seconds.

I wished I could take off my mask. I wanted him to see my face, but it wasn’t time for that yet.

Soon.

Watch how fucking fast I get your attention after this.

I activated the countdown. Shuffling back, I quickly got into position, leaning back, elbows firmly on the bed, both hands clasping my breasts but leaving a little space between my fingers so he would get just a glimpse of my nipples, and legs spread wide.

I’d intentionally left my underwear on, because come on…I couldn’t give him all the goods yet. He would have to work for that.

Finally, I tipped my head back so he could only see the column of my throat.

The sound of the phone taking a picture hit the air. After a quick check, I changed it to his wallpaper and climbed down.

The water turned off. My gaze snapped to the bathroom. Lukyan stepped out of the shower, his body glistening, water dripping down his hard chest and rock-solid abs.

My eyes stayed plastered to the mirror as I quickly put my jumpsuit back on. I had to get out. Now. Slip away quickly before he left the bathroom and caught me red-fucking-handed.

But my feet stayed rooted in place, my body unable to move. He was like a piece of art. Chiseled. Sculpted. Pure perfection.

His hair was down and dripping wet, resting on his shoulders. I just wanted to run my fingers through it. I loved long hair on men…or was it just Lukyan? My fingers danced over the bracelet around my wrist—the one made out of a lock of his hair.

I never took it off, except when I was showering. That way, I always had a piece of him with me.

Move. Your. Ass!

Fuck.

I swiped up my phone and bolted out of his bedroom door, closing it softly behind me.

Luck was on my side because the hallway was clear. I knew it wouldn’t be for long, though. That house was always abuzz with activity. People were coming and going all the time, whether it be their maid staff, guards, or the Volkovs themselves. I couldn’t risk staying out in the open.

I jogged further down, my heart hammering in my chest, and stopped in front of the wall sconce just before the spiral staircase leading back down to the ground floor. Feeling underneath it, I waited until the switch touched my fingers and—

Click.

A triumphant smile graced my lips as the secret door beside it slid open. I ducked inside, clicking it shut behind me.

I knew every single inch of the Volkov mansion. I knew where all the nooks and crannies were. Where all the trapdoors and hidden passageways led to. Where all the panic rooms and weapons caches were.

I knew fucking everything. The moment I’d decided Lukyan would be mine, I made it my mission to learn anything and everything I could about him. I even had the blueprint of his home saved as a PDF on my phone. Not that I needed it anymore anyway. I had the whole layout memorized.

Before moving another step, I pulled up the camera feed I had in his bedroom. I wanted to see his reaction to my photo. Would he freak out, knowing I had been in the room with him the whole time? Would he like that? Would he feel angry? Threatened? Turned on?

I was hoping for all of the above.

He stood in front of his bed, towel wrapped around his waist, another in his hands, drying his long hair. His phone hadn’t moved, sitting in exactly the same spot I had left it.

If I had any sense, I would gotten the fuck out then. Staying any longer put me at serious risk. There was every chance that the moment he realized I was in the house, Lukyan would sound the alarm, and then I would have them all searching for me.

The thrill alone kept me in place.

Lukyan threw the towel in his hands on the ground and leaned forward to pick up his phone. I switched to a different angle—the camera on the headboard of his bed, giving me a perfect view of his face.

“What the fuck?” he blew out, eyes widening. His head whipped from side to side, looking around the room. He dropped to one knee, checking under the bed next before standing back up, his features completely perplexed.
