Detective Anderson looks down at him. “What are you talking about?”

Brad’s eyes widen in anger as he raises his voice. “He came in here and tried to kill me!”

Detective Anderson shrugs. “I didn’t see anything.”

Brad is losing it on the floor, his anger building up and making his face turn an ugly shade of red. “Of course you would side with this piece of shit and his slut. He’s been slipping you money under—”

And I’m done.

I drop Blake’s wrists as I cross the few steps to Brad and kick him in the stomach with my boot. Brad grunts as he curls up in the fetal position, clutching his stomach.

I crouch down so I’m hovering just above his whimpering, pussy ass as I growl in his ear, “The only reason I’m not killing you right now is because I can’t walk out of here with your body to throw it in the ocean. Keep my girl’s name out of your fucking mouth. I don’t even want you breathing the same air as her. You best believe this is your last goddamn warning and then I’m coming for you. And trust me, you don’t want me coming for you.” Brad’s breathing is heavy as he stares up at me through pained eyes. “Sleep with one eye open, bitch.”

I step away from him, leaving Brad on the floor as I move back to Blake.

“What’s going on?” Blake asks. You wouldn’t think anything is wrong from her tone, but I can see the fear in her eyes.

“Your boss is a piece of shit is what’s going on,” I tell her before turning to Detective Anderson. “The club will be handling this one.”

Detective Anderson tips his head back. “Why do you live to make my life miserable?”

“Because you love when we scratch your itch.” I snicker, knowing he’s going to make this go away on their end.

I can see the questions floating around in Blake’s eyes about the relationship I have with Detective Anderson. We haven’t really had a chance to talk about the club much. The Saint’s Outlaws MC have connections and chapters all over. You never know when you’ll need something, and I’m not in the business of burning bridges. If you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.

Not that I help out a fucking cop, but it pays to have one that helps you out in a form of payment.

“You and I need to have a little talk later about when you think something is up at work, you tell me exactly what the fuck is going on,” I tell Blake. “Your fucking boss got in way over his head. An employee at the distribution company y’all get your alcohol from was hiding the cocaine in the deliveries when he loaded the truck. He wanted to keep it for himself and threatened Russ. Russ got scared and ratted you out in case shit went up in flames to cover his ass.”

Blake looks stunned. “How did you find out?”

I was stunned when I heard it too. I didn’t know Russ had that kind of operation going on.

“He showed up at the garage tweaking the fuck out. That’s when I knew something was really up, and since you were keeping this from me, I took matters into my own hands, and thank fuck I did because you weren’t going to say anything to me.” I look at Blake expectantly.

Blake looks at me sheepishly. “I was handling it.”

I make a point of slowly looking around the room. “Is this how you handling it looks? Because if it is, you’re not handling shit from here on out.”

I can see the steam ready to spill out of her ears as she puts her hands on her hips and seethes. “Fuck you. I can handle my own shit thank you very m—”

I cover her mouth with my hand, shutting her up. “Keep up the lip, toots. You know what’s coming later.”

My dick twitches as I feel her tongue dart out and lick my hand. The memory of her on her knees before me, sucking me off, plays through my mind.

Yeah, she owes me tonight.

“If I take my hand away, are you going to shut the fuck up and let me take the lead on this?”

I don’t remove my hand as I watch the fire behind her eyes ignite. The fire in them tells me she wants to argue more, but she understands she needs to yield as she nips at my hand.

My cock jumps again as I feel her teeth dig into my flesh.

A rumble vibrates low in my chest. “Naughty girl. I’ll deal with you later. Let’s get out of here.”

Detective Anderson holds the door open. “You owe me.”

“Add it to my tab,” I tell him as I lead Blake out of the room and out to my bike.
