It hits me suddenly that this is our real beginning.

Not the silo. Not the clubhouse. Not even our first time. This. Right here. Day one of whatever we're gonna be together, whether it lasts a week or fifty years.

Doesn't matter what Mike wants from me, what my half-brother thinks he's owed, or how many bodies lie in that pit behind the clubhouse.

This moment right here is mine.

Is ours.

Once we're rinsed clean, crystal clear water swirlin' down the drain at our feet, I keep my promise. I lift her up, hands grippin' the backs of her thighs, and pin her against the tile wall. Her legs wrap around my waist, ankles lockin' behind me. I line myself up and push into her, slow and controlled, feelin' every inch of her closin' around me.

"Look at me," I tell her as I start to move, keepin' the pace gentle. Deliberate. "I wanna see your eyes."

Slow is a different kinda burn. Hurts worse somehow. Makes you feel it all the way through, no hidin' in the rush.

I move inside her smooth and steady, the water drippin' down between us. Her legs tight around my waist, her back pressed against the tile. Every stroke deliberate. Every inch felt. Her eyes never leavin' mine, like I asked.

"You feel that?" I whisper against her mouth, rollin' my hips in a way that makes her gasp. "Feel me inside you?"

She nods, lips parted, breathin' hard. Her fingers dig into my shoulders, leavin' marks. Good. I want the reminder tomorrow. Want the evidence of her on me when I'm dealin' with Mike's bullshit or Crow's panic or whatever fresh hell is waitin'.

The steam rises around us like fog, like we're fuckin' in the clouds. I watch her face while I slide in and out, how her eyelids flutter, how her mouth forms this perfect O when I hit that spot inside her just right. Like I'm prayin' with my body and she's the answer comin' back.

It builds slow between us. No rushin'. No chasin'. Just the sure, steady climb that feels like it could last forever. When she tightens around me, when her breath catches, I know she's close. I am too.

"Come for me," I tell her, pressin' my forehead to hers. "Come with me, Savannah."

We break together, her walls grippin' me tight, pulsin' around my cock while I empty myself inside her. Our mouths find each other in the release, no finesse to it, just hungry, open kisses swallowed by steam and water.

After, I hold her against me until our breathin' slows. Then I set her down gentle, legs still shakin', and reach between her thighs. I clean her with careful fingers, watchin' our come mix with the water and disappear down the drain. She does the same for me, her hand wrapped around my spent cock, washin' away the evidence of what we just shared.

It feels like somethin' sacred between just us two.

I shut off the water and step out first, grabbin' one of those thick white towels off the rack. It's soft as hell against my skin, not like the sandpaper bullshit at the trailer or the rough rags at the club. I secure it around my waist before takin' another one and wrappin' it around Savannah as she follows me out.

She stands there in her towel, hair wet and hangin' down her back in dark ropes, lookin' at me with those eyes that see everything. The whole damn mess of me, inside and out. Nothin' hidden.

We don't speak. Don't need to. She moves to the bed, pulls the comforter off in one motion. Throws back the sheets and blankets beneath. They're clean, fresh, probably changed today by some housekeeper.

Savannah drops her towel first, standin' naked and damp before she slides between the sheets. I follow, towel fallin' to the floor, joinin’ hers in a puddle beside the bed. The sheets are cool against my skin, a shock after the heat of the shower, but then Savannah's pressed against me, her body warm and familiar.

She lays her head on my chest, right over the place where my brand used to be. Her cheek rests against scar tissue, against the proof of what I'm willin' to do for brotherhood, for loyalty. Her breath fans across my skin as she settles in.

I pull her closer, arm wrapped tight around her shoulders. No space between us. Nowhere she ends that I don't begin. We fit together like this is what we were made for. Like all the blood and dirt and years were just the path leadin' here.

My eyes get heavy fast.

The water, the sex, the day catchin' up all at once.

Her breathin' evens out, slows.

She's driftin' off already, safe in my arms.

And that's it.

This day finally ends.

Just as perfect as it started.
