After a moment, Kel pulled away, cupping my face in her palms as she pulled me into a deep, all-consuming kiss. Stars exploded behind my eyes, the same way they always had when I kissed her all those years ago.
I pressed my hands over hers, holding her to me as long as I could, feeling her strong hands cradle me like a precious gem. When she pulled away, I noticed my fingers were pressed over hard plastic. I gazed up at her, arching my brow.
“How did this happen?” I gestured to the broken cuffs.
She lifted her hand, knocking the rest of the cuff on the wall behind me until it crumbled under her force. “Plastic. Can never be too safe.”
My knees went weak as she winked at me. All I could do was stare at her. I was in a complete state of shock. Still floating on the cloud of the best orgasm I’d ever had, but still grappling with everything that had happened and how we ended up here.
I ran my hands over her arms, around her shoulders and over her chest and finally, resting them around her neck. As I made my way, Kel’s eyes fluttered closed like she was savoring my every touch. When she opened them, what I saw in her eyes scared me. Love. Complete, undeniable devotion.
“Why now?” I asked. Questions shooting around in my brain. “Why didn’t you come for me sooner?”
“You weren’t ready.” Her voice was soft. Barely a whisper, almost like it was painful for her to say. “Maybe I wasn’t either.”
“And now?”
“I never left you, baby. I watched you all these years. How you conformed to what everyone else expected from you. A pretty little decoration in everybody else’s life.” She caressed my cheek softly and I leaned into it. “A shining crystal vase on a shelf, perfectly dusted and never out of place. But I saw you slowly changing. I saw you grow tired and creep closer towards the edge. I saw your desire to jump and shatter the shell of yourself and make anyone who dared step over your broken pieces bleed. That’s when I knew I hadn’t lost you forever. And when I started catching onto your useless husband’s extracurricular activities…that’s when I knew I needed to save you.”
“But why couldn’t you just come to me? Why all this?” My voice cracked as I tried to hold back the sobs.
“I guess somewhere deep inside me, I still didn’t feel good enough for you. I wanted to know that it was your choice. I wanted you to understand everything that had happened and choose again. Even if you didn’t choose me, I still wanted you to be free from that torment. You deserve to live freely, babydoll.”
“I should have chosen you,” I sobbed. “I should have stood up for us and not given a fuck what others thought. But I was too scared. I was a coward and wasted years of my life with an apparent fucking murderer, slowly dying while the girl who forced me to choose got to live in her truth.” I paused to catch my breath and meet her gaze, hoping she saw how sincere I was. “Kel. Mykela. My Kel. I’m so, so sorry. I don’t deserve you.”
“My baby.” Kel pressed our foreheads together before pulling away and dropping to her knees again. “If I wasn’t clear before, I am yours. I’ve always been yours. I belong to you.” She placed the leash in my hand. “Your servant. Your prisoner. Your property.” Her fingers traveled up my calves and dug into my thighs. “You can leave me. Hurt me. Beat me. And I’ll always come crawling back, begging for more. You are my soul, Jasmine. I can not be without you.”
A twisted satisfaction spread through me at the thought of owning her. This huge, solid mountain of a woman on her knees for me. Submitting to my desires. I never thought I would like something like that, but with her, I suddenly craved it. I twisted the chain around my fist and pulled so she was looking up at me.
“Mine.” I declared, pulling harder until she started to stand.
“Mine,” I whispered across her lips as she slowly rose to her full height.
“Mine.” She was towering over me again now, the look in her eyes hungry and feral. It made my stomach clench in a strange way. Like fear flirting with desire.
I pulled the leash again, making her hunch down so my lips could reach her ear.
“All mine.” I pulled back, placing a quick kiss on her lips. “And I’m yours.”
“Anything you say, baby.” Her voice was a low growl.
“Anything?” I smirked.
She nodded, her eyes darkening even more.
“Come.” I slipped from the wall, walking towards the classroom and pulling Kel with me. She followed obediently.
“Open it,” I demanded, gesturing to the locked door.
She dug a key ring from her pants and opened the door immediately. The obedience warmed my chest. This was going to be fun.
Chapter 30
Jasmine
I brought us over to the large, wooden desk and turned around to face my pet.
“Show me what I’ve been missing all these years. Be my good pet and show me you’re mine.” I cocked my head to the side as she stood still. Maybe she needed more direction. “Touch me, Kel.”
