He nodded and repositioned himself. He shoved a pillow under his lower back, and I found my way back into his heat moments later. We went slow at first, whispering confessions of love as we kissed, until it got to be too much.
I pushed his knees up to his chest, and I began to drive into him. His hand wrapped around his cock, and he began to stroke. “I’m so close,” he cried out. “I’m so close, Kieran. I’m so—”
I wanted him to cum. I wanted to feel him tighten around me as he reached that peak.
I got my wish moments later. Ropes of cum shot from his tip, painting our chests. His channel tightened around me, and within a few thrusts, I was filling the condom. My thrusts were erratic and uneven, and I had only one goal in mind.
When I finally finished, I collapsed down onto his sticky chest and kissed him again.
We kissed until he whined. “Too sensitive.”
I pulled out, pulled off the condom, and tied it off. I tossed it into the trash can before we began to kiss again.
He was mine, and I loved him.
I was his, and he loved me.
And nothing had ever felt more right in my entire life.
Chapter Twenty-Two
Evander
Ispent the first day of my new relationship with Kieran plotting and planning. Scheming, actually. I was sending off secret texts and making plans that 100% involved my boyfriend and he couldn’t know. Not until I was able to put all these plots and plans and schemes into action.
Which I was able to do on Sunday.
We spent the first half of the day together. We went for our run and then we got a quick breakfast. When we went back to my dorm, Ryan and Benny were playing some racing game on the couch. Kieran looked interested, and we ended up playing with them for the rest of the morning. I’d never seen Kieran so engaged with other people. He was laughing and shit talking, telling stories about playing the same game with the few friends he had back home.
I realized it was one of the only times I’d ever actually heard him talk about the friends he’d left in his hometown. I had a feeling the list just wasn’t that long. He talked about his dad and customers at his dad’s bar a lot more than he did anyone our age. I think watching him cut up and joke around just made me love him more. It also made it a lot harder to leave him at lunchtime.
But he thought I had lunch plans with Kali and Luke.
I walked him to the library, and I told him that we’d meet up later. When lunch was over.
The second he walked through the glass doors of the library, I turned around and started setting my plan in motion. I met up with Eric and Wes and gave them several envelopes to hide around campus before heading off to the trail. Serena was waiting there with a few shopping bags of supplies. We worked fast, getting everything set up. I didn’t even have to worry about Kieran being safe, about any kind of repercussions from Willis and his crew, because I knew Nick and Charlie were nearby. They were keeping an eye on him for me, so that I could plan this perfect moment.
I left Serena in the woods with everything set up so I could rush back to the dorm and get dressed.
An hour later, I got texts from Wes and Eric, wishing me luck and telling me that they’d set up their part. I practically ran back to the woods to relieve Serena.
Ninety minutes later, I got a text from Charlie saying that Kieran was on the move.
Almost three hours after I’d left Kieran in the library, I heard the snap of twigs and crunch of leaves on the trail. I took a deep breath, one that filled my lungs with Kieran’s presence. I swallowed down the familiar notes of his scent and felt a sudden calm rush over me. Which was good, because a moment later, he stepped into view.
He was still wearing the same jeans and tee shirt he’d been wearing when I saw him that morning. His backpack was slung casually over one shoulder, and he had a white card in his hands. When I first saw him, he looked so confused.
Then he saw me, and he smiled.
“What is this?” he questioned.
I took a step forward, away from the picnic blanket I’d set up in the middle of the trail. “It’s a date,” I told him. “I mean, not just a date. If it was just a date, I would have just texted you to meet me. It’s also… It’s also a question.”
Kieran’s eyes widened and filled with fear. “Evand—”
“Oh God, no! Not that question,” I interrupted so fast my words slurred together. It hadn’t even occurred to me that going through all these steps would make him think I was proposing to him. We hadn’t even been officially dating for three days! We hadn’t even known each other for three months! I might not have been the best thinker in the world, but even I knew that was rushing things a little. “This question is a lot less permanent. Less serious too,” I promised him.
He raised his slitted eyebrow at me.
