“You disobeyed a direct order and nearly got yourself killed, and I’m the juvenile one? I think not.”

“Please, can we move on? Can you let it go?”

“I keep seeing that male at your throat,” I tell her. “Every time I closed my eyes last night, there he was with his teeth on your neck, and there I was with my claws stuck in the rock. I thought I was going to watch you die. I’m sorry, Star, but I can’t just move on from that. It’s not possible.”
