Me: I know.

K3: I’m going to call you in an hour so we can watch our movie. Are you safe?

Me: Yes.

K3: You promise?

Me: Yes.

K3: Man-Man will be there waiting for you to arrive safely. Take an Uber. Don’t drive. I wanna know where you at.

Me: The bar.

K3: Go home, Cassandra.

Me: Bye, Baby.

The phone hung up.

I walked back up to Juan’s apartment slowly. My clothes were soaked. My shoes squished as I walk. My hair was plastered against my face and neck. Once I got to his door...I couldn’t even bring myself to knock. Luckily, I didn’t have to.

He stared at me silently as I stood there, staring at my shoes. His fingers wrapped my chin, lifting my head up. Tears as well as rain ran down my face. His mouth said nothing but his eyes said everything. He knew it was over.

I stepped in after he stepped aside. My body remained frozen in place as he helped me take the wet clothes off. While I was gone, he cleaned the kitchen, turned the lights off, and started playing music. When he lifted me in his arms, carrying me to the living room, I allowed him.

Right My Wrongs by Bryson Tiller

My body got chills as he pinned me to the cold glass. The tears continued to come as he stripped his beater off, taking his shorts off in the process. My back arched, head digging into the glass as he slid into me. His hands grabbed my face softly, forcing me to look into his eyes as he fucked me.

“Juan...” I whispered.

“I know, Cassie. I know.”

I held onto him tightly as he fucked me against the window. If it wasn’t for us being in a penthouse, everyone would be getting a free show.

He kissed my lips hungrily as he fucked up into me. I didn’t have a chance to moan or call out even though he was fucking the shit out of me. He refused to stop kissing me. As if he was trying to learn and remember the kiss. Trying to store it into his memory.

He broke away, wrapping me into his body like he always does. He held me low above the ground, thrashing me onto his dick. I held the back of his neck while screaming out. He looked into my eyes,

“Even if it’s not true, Cassie. Tell me you love me.”

“I love you, Juan.”

He lifted me back up. I clung onto him for dear life. My nose trailed his neck, taking in his smell one more time. I could tell he tried to slow down. He tried to savor it. But he had no choice but to drop me, nutting onto the floor.

He walked away, going into his room and then coming out moments later with clothes for me to put on. As I got dressed, so did he while also grabbing my phones, purse, and a different pair of shoes.

“You’re not driving...” he said with a sad tone.

“I’m not. I’m Ubering. My brother-in-law...my...he’s waiting for me.”

“I’ll send your stuff tomorrow. Unless you change your mind and want me to bring it personally.”

I chuckled, shaking my head softly. “Just let the next bitch know that I’m the one who put that curve in your dick.”

He threw his head back laughing while we walked to the elevator. The two of us held hands in the lobby as we waited for the Uber. He walked me out, letting me take the umbrella with me. I gave my baby Juan one last hug, turning away before he kissed me. Before he made it harder.

I cried the entire way home.
