K3: I called it a tsunami today.
Me: Tsunami, then.
“Devyn, please be safe. Do you need a whistle?!”
“Bye, Cassandra.”
“NO MEANS NO! CALL MEEEE!”
K3: AND DON’T BRING NO EXTRA NIGGAS BACK!
Me and Cassie chuckled as I raced out the front door with my bag.
I flew to the elevators and into the lobby. I had no choice but to stop in Whole Foods and get a bottle of water. A bitch was still tipsy and dehydrated. Afterwards, I immediately begun my walk. My forty-five minutes was look real fifty-five-ish.
The Chicago air was so forgiving. Football season had started a few weeks ago, and it’s now making that transition. Even with the sun high in the sky without a cloud, I felt good. It’ll be a beautiful day.
As I approached the idling Trackhawk, I glanced into the windows of a shop next to me. The skirt hung low on my hips, showcasing my stomach. Maybe I should take the belly ring out. As soon as my hand moved to it, his truck door opened. I adjusted myself as he rounded the back, smiling.
He had a bouquet of yellow and pink lilies in his hand, plus my sketchbook. I forgot about the damn sketchbook. He wore yellow Nike shorts, a White t-shirt, and some white One’s with white socks. Somehow, we were matching.
“Not only are you late, but you went and got your hair done AND came and seen what I’m wearing so you could match me. I truly do not know what to say.”
I chuckled nervously as he handed me the flowers and my book, “Thank you, these are gorgeous.”
“No, what’s gorgeous is you, Devyn. You look better each time I see you. And what you did to your hair is making me feel warm inside.”
“Well let’s cool you off.”
He smiled, reaching down and kissing my cheek. He placed his hand on the back of my shoulders, guiding me to the front seat of his truck. His hand slid up my neck, softly caressing a hand full of curls.
My stomach fluttered as he opened the door and winked at me. I had to ignore his gaze while climbing in. I also hid my smile as he hopped up, putting my seatbelt on for me. He spoke while being inches from my face,
“You smell good, Devyn.”
“You smell better.”
“You think so?”
“CAN WE LEAVE!” I laughed. He threw his head back, laughing with me and shutting the door. My clit twitched as he ran to the other side, hopping in.
“Before we do anything, I want you to know that I do love your sketches and it wasn’t enough for me to just flip through them. I love how you wrote little explanations. They weren’t needed, but they’re so you.”
“What does that mean?” I asked, smiling like an idiot. He loved them!
“Just from our talk, I can tell you think deep into things. Sometimes deeper than what’s caused for. Maybe one person told you they didn’t get it, so, you took your pretty little hand and wrote out what it meant.”
“My parents and grandmother are my hardest critiques.”
“Hmmmm. Well, I have a top ten and will be revealing them to you as the day goes on.”
I laughed, “That’s sooooo dramatic!”
“Number ten, the dragon. The last one. I can tell in the other two you were getting the hang of it, but I’m really impressed by the third one. It’ll be coo to see what you can do with that on skin. NOW! Your tourist tour. What have you been doing since you’ve gotten here?”
“Uhhhhhh. Just...hanging around.”
“So, all you can tell your peoples is that you let a man see your ass?”
