K3: Go ahead and catch yourself right there before you say some shit that really gets you in some hot water, foe. You on some coo shit when you know who I am, for real. I love you and you not about to disrespect me with whatever you thought yo coo, cappin ass was finna say.
Me: Fuck you like I said. Bye.
I hung up, slinging my phone across the room. Tati and Doodaman looked at me in shock. She busted out laughing even though I was fuming. I’m hurt!
“Tati, not now.”
“I see you shut that ass right up!”
“Yeah, because that nigga will fuck around and really break out!”
She laughed and rubbed my arm, “Oh, Cassandra. Hoe, you know that’s the love of your life. He’s never done wrong by you. Them bitches bogus as hell. They always tryna get under your skin.”
“I just don’t believe my man in there fucking off with bitches that come out here with me, bragging on it. But Tati...I can see that nigga slipping once. And once is enough for me.”
“He locked for real, for real. Don’t drive yourself crazy until you have concrete evidence or hear it from him. You’re already struggling mentally without him.”
I sighed, still feeling the hurt in my chest. My second phone dinged in between FaceTime call’s from K3. I looked down, seeing it was Devyn. She said she’s at the front door. I picked up all three of my phones and handed them to Tati.
“Turn these hoes off.”
She cackled as I rushed away. I fixed my t-shirt and pulled my spandex shorts down as I rushed to open it for her. When I did, she seemed...different. Her brown skin was a little more glow-y than usual. A small smile rested on her face. Her titties was sitting loud and proud in her outfit, and she smelled like cologne a bit.
“What, you was with a nigga?!” I yelled, smiling.
She fought the smile from coming onto her face but lost, “Cassandra, stop yelling in this nice hallway.”
“Cassie!” I stepped aside, letting her in.
“I wasn’t just with a man; I went to a tattoo shop and talked to some people.”
“Well, you look happy which is different from the past day. Devyn, I’m sorry for the way our time together has gone so far. I should’ve been better prepared for your arrival and kind of just allowed you to be dropped off in the middle of my life. Also, there’s things that I wasn’t up front about. I’m glad you’re here and hope you feel the same.”
“It’s okay, Cassandra. I’m happy to be here. Thank you.”
“Cassie. You’re welcome! I didn’t want to go into your space while you were gone, but now that you’re here, please allow Tati and I to move my things out so you can settle in appropriately.”
“I would love that. Go ahead.”
“TATI, COME ON!” I yelled as I walked towards Devyn’s room.
Tati stomped towards the front, annoyed, holding Doodas’ hand. I opened Devyn’s door, “Oh, Devyn. This is Doodaman.”
“I’m sorry, what’s his name?”
“She said Doodaman, hoe!” Tati snapped.
I twisted my head around, “TATIANNA! NO MA’AM!”
“Kelisha my only mama, Cassie! I’m sorry, Devyn. His name Eddy but we only call him Doodaman.”
“That’s why his favorite color two now!” I yelled as we begun lugging stuff out of the room.
“Bitch! Don’t do Doodas!” Tati cackled. She was dressed in the exact outfit I was. Both of us had our hair in scarves. “Devyn, can you make Doodas a snack?!”
“Um, sure.”
I snickered while walking past. She was sitting on the couch with her big ass purse while Doodas just stared at her ass. This woman stay in a constant state of being uncomfortable.
