He pulled her onto his lap. Juan pulled up to the exit, waiting to turn out. I looked back at them. His lips were on her neck while his hands grabbed at her nonexistent waist. Her light brown skin was milky, and her natural curls were plush. I chuckled watching her push her titties out. She’s fine.

“You straight, cousin?”

“Mhm...”

I left it at that.

Turning forward, I found his eyes on me. Suddenly, I remembered just how hungry my pussy was. His hand made its way to my bare thighs, rubbing all over them. He looked at them and then me. They spread open that easily like a magic trick. He caressed the inside of them as I shook my head slowly.

“Did anyone cause you any trouble today?” he asked seriously.

“Not yet.” I smiled at his chuckle.

“You was okay while I was gone? You gotta tell me if I need to handle somebody, Cassandra.”

My mind went to Pink and her nigga.

“Same ole shit in the club. Other than that, I’ve been okay, Deddy. I didn’t really have much going on until my cousin got here today.”

“Did that go okay for you?”

I nodded with a small smile. He pulled my face to his while bending down, kissing my lips softly. All the ice I built around my heart until my man came home melted. I felt so grateful he was back.

BEEEEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEEP!

I pulled away, looking at the window with Juan. Devyn audibly gasped. The nigga who they beat up for cussing out Kenzie was at the light, next to my side. The moment he flashed his gun; Juan yanked me into his lap and down on the floor. The nigga didn’t shoot or anything. He skirted off, jumping onto the highway.

“Hand me that,” Juan said, looking down at me between his legs. I smirked, reaching under his seat and handing him his pistol. “Put your seatbelt on, Cassandra.”

Once I was back in my seat and fastened in, the car jolted off. Devyn let out another gasp at how fast we were going. I looked back at her as Juan dropped all the windows. Her eyes were wide, body stiff, and titties smacking her chin. Twist just casually held her in his lap with one arm while holding his gun out the window with the other.

I tried to hold in the laugh, but I just couldn’t. I faced forward while absolutely cackling. Juan chuckled while going even faster, speeding behind the nigga. The wind whipped my hair around violently. The cool air wrapped itself around my skin. I allowed myself to sink into the seat, comfortably.

Just as Juan got up on him, the dummy spun out of control, smacking the median under the viaduct. Instead of stopping and doing the worst, we just continued on the highway, slowing down a bit. He put his gun on his lap and hand on my knee.

This shit was nothing new with Juan. Juan was always ready to show a nigga no matter what. He and Man-Man were the only people I felt comfortable with while my man was jammed up. Anybody else? I tried to avoid these situations at all cost. The sirens in the distance reminded me I haven’t always been that successful in doing so.

I looked back at Devyn. Her mouth was dropped open as she looked back at me. Everyone in the car sat up straighter at once. Juan picked up speed, flying down the highway again. Moments after we passed one of the highway entrances, a police car jumped on with their lights on.

My hand shook as I put it on my stomach. I tried to stop myself from dry heaving the four shots I had tonight. My heart was beating quickly. Juan tried to hold my leg, but I pushed him off of me, breathing in the air from the window deeply.

I wasn’t afraid of going to jail. I mean, who wants to go to jail? I didn’t care about the wreck we caused or running from the police. What I cared about? Me getting buckled and my nigga finding out I was with Juan. Of course I was also worried about Devyn...but there’s no way I can get caught with this man.

By the grace of God, we finally lost them. Juan laughed, grabbing my face and kissing me roughly. This time, I allowed him to comfort me. Thank you, Jesus.

We rode in silence for a bit just to be sure. After so long, everyone’s shoulders dropped, relaxing. The car slowed down as Juan turned the music back on. He slid his gun under the seat. Twist was back on this woman’s body. The streets were smooth and quiet. Order was restored.

Juan fixed the mirror so he could see Devyn, “Sorry bout that, baby girl,” I smiled, nudging him softly. “What’s your name?”

“Devyn...” she all about whispered.

“Devyn. I’m Juan. Do you smoke? Are you hungry?”

“Yes and yes.”

I smirked and looked back at her, “Wait, you smoke?”

“Yeah. You don’t?”
