“And if shit get shaky like they tryna get up with us, I’ll tell Man-Man and K3. I’ma have to tell K3 regardless, the shit too onry so make sure you get up with your man, Dev.”

Kenzie clapped her hands, “Them niggas be on hella pills. Plus, he got money. He’ll probably take us to that freaky ass house, not his personal shit. That’s not even going to be a dent but will be enough for us.”

“Who’s gon get em?” Tati looked around.

“Me,” Cassie smiled for the first time since her nigga caught her slipping. “It’s something about niggas irruhtating me that makes me want to rob em. All them stupid mothafuckas care about is they dick, money, and what the next nigga think. I’m taking from them and leaving em with blue balls. We leaving they goofy asses broke, embarrassed, and with hard dicks. Fuck em.”

“Fuck em,” the three of us responded.

“And Poncho?” Kenzie asked.

Tati sat up straighter, “Uh...I need time to think!”

The three of us shared a look. I could tell Tati noticed we wasn’t feeling that answer at all. He is just as wrong as everyone else involved. But I have no dog in that fight. Instead, I asked the question that’s been burning inside my throat.

“Why are y’all doing this? It’s dangerous. They didn’t harm y’all... I’m okay...”

“Bitch, fuck is you talm bout? Is you coo? What the fuck I tell you the other day? Anything done wrong to you may as well have been done wrong to me!” Cassie shouted.

Kenzie nodded, “Devyn, we love you. Please stop acting fucking weird, it’s so annoying. Sisters fight and make-up. You know how we get down. Plus, think of what he’s doing to all them other girls? Nah. Somebody gotta make him feel it one time.”

“Taking from that nigga will make up for every nigga we ever let slide!” Tati agreed.

“Ain’t no time to question it, we starting tonight with Pink,” Cassie stated.

I folded my lips to hide the smile that came onto my face. Cassie noticed and laughed, twirling away to the kitchen.

Revenge can be so sweet no matter how evil sometimes. I know it because I check on my ex every now and then. That boy still ain’t recovered.

It’s me and my girls over all these men. None of them will ever get the one up.

Chapter 22: Another Woman’s Treasure

Cassie’s POV

Oh no....

Getting ready to go to The Ninth, I felt like my body was being weighed down. As if a bitch was treading through water trying to get ready. The situation seemed so stupid and so fucking silly. Jumping to those conclusions just off of an alarm for a pill. But damn. I can’t lie to him and say no. I don’t know what I’ll say face to face, but over the phone? I just couldn’t

Knowing the truth hurts. I don’t think of Juan and reminisce. Instead, he was a secret I tried to make myself forget. It was only easy to do because my baby wasn’t out here with me. I could never fuck around on my nigga in any other circumstances. I love Kenzo too much. It hurts me to know he’s in jail of all places, hurting off of my actions. He deserves better...but I’ll beat the brakes off that bitch.

I called Man-Man regular since I’m getting ready. I just showered and curled my blonde sew-in. Now I’m oiling and lotioning my body up. Unfortunately, feeling sad and guilty because of K3 didn’t make me wanna spare no nigga or bitch. I’m still onnat.

Man-Man: Hold up.

Silence.

Man-Man: Cassie. What you on, foe?

Me: I just wanna know if you’ve spoken to him since I cussed y’all out not too long ago. How he’s doing.

Man-Man: G, you’re crazy. Both y’all goofy asses are. You just cussed me the fuck out, made me call him, and cussed him the fuck out. Then he called and cussed me out. Now both of y’all calling and texting me, making me see if the other person is okay after getting cussed out.

I laughed as he cracked up. In all honesty, I was just happy Kenzo was still worried about me.

Me: Man-Man, the last thing I want is him in there with all of this bogus ass shit going on. Not to mention, this is coming after the shit with the guard. We been good for seven years and now he’s potentially getting out in a month and everything is falling apart. I love your brother to death. He’s tweakin off, for real.

Man-Man: He’s just in there feeling insecure, sis. He loves you to death and you know that. You know he criminally insane, he just needs time to sit with himself. But you’ll see him at visitation.
