Archer stayed with me, peppering kisses across my heated skin, kneading and pinching my nipples, then praising me when I came apart in his hands.
“My beautiful Harper,” he said, emotion thick in his tone and eyes. “I want you.”
“Take me,” I whispered, tugging him closer. I wanted him too. Every tanned, glorious mile of him. My sexy giant of a man. My Marine. “You have me.”
Archer sat on his knees on the bed and pulled a condom from the nightstand. He rolled it over his hard length before me and watched as I shivered in anticipation. “Say it.”
“I want you.”
His eyes closed for one brief moment as he lined himself up at my entrance, then guided one of my ankles onto his shoulder. He turned his face to kiss my calf. He traced the curve of my thigh.
“Archer,” I whined. “I am yours.”
Heat blazed in his eyes, and he held my hips tightly as he thrust himself deep inside my body.
I arched in pleasure, his name a cry on my lips.
“I’m yours,” I chanted, matching each of his thrusts with my own. “Only yours, Archer. I am only yours.”
His pupils dilated, and his pace grew wild and relentless.
I dug my fingers into the muscles of his back and gave over to the feel of our bodies coming together. “No one else,” I vowed. “I am only yours.”
He made a deep, guttural sound, and his rhythm became unsteady.
“No one else sees me like this,” I said.
He looked down at our colliding bodies, muscles tight, jaw clenched.
“No one else touches me like this.”
He met my eyes, face flushed, expression hard.
“No one else gets to fuck me like this.”
Archer dropped his shoulder, releasing my leg, and my knees fell instantly wide, accommodating the sheer size of him. He grabbed my wrists and stretched my arms above my head as he drove into me. “Say it again.”
“This is only for you. I am only for you.”
He finished with a final frantic thrust, and I followed him over the edge.
Afterward, we lay curled together as the storm raged outside.
His fingers moved through my hair and over my back, tracing the curve of my hip to my bottom.
Rain fell in earnest, though I hadn’t noticed when it began. I was too lost in Archer to care about anything beyond his bed and our bubble.
I drew patterns on his chest and torso with my fingertips, pleased by the commitment growing between us. “No one else,” I whispered.
He kissed my head, then rested his cheek against my crown. “No one else.”
“Mine,” I said.
“You got that damn right.”
His phone vibrated on the nightstand, and he rolled over for a look. “Knox.”
I rested my head in one palm while Archer checked the message.
