No. No, no, no. This can’t be happening. I can’t do this. I won’t. I pull back with all my might, but it’s useless. I’m no match for him. He drags me toward the cage and points at the entrance. “Kennel, precious.” His voice is calm, in no way indicating any frustration. In fact, I realize he’s not. He gets off on this. On shocking me. On forcing me to fight him. The bulge in the front of his jeans is all the confirmation I need that he’s turned on.

Fuck him.

Fucking asshole.

I’m not a fucking dog.

Silver reaches into his back pocket and pulls out that damn crop. Leaning over me, he swats my ass hard. “Kennel, precious.”

I yelp behind the gag. Not much sound comes out. I’m drooling, my saliva dripping onto the floor in front of me.

Silver yanks again.

I haven’t had the chance to wrap my head around the fact that this is happening, but I need to accept it before he slaps my other butt cheek with the crop.

Fuck, that hurts. It’s much worse than his palm.

When he does it a third time, I lurch forward toward the cage. I can’t believe I’m doing this. I’m so fucking angry I want to scream. I want to run.

I hesitate at the cage door, tears streaming down my cheeks. I’m a slobbering mess of snot and spittle.

“Kennel,” he demands a third time. He still has a hold of the leash, but he’s behind me now. He slaps the back of both my thighs with the crop, so fast I can’t even react until he’s done both.

I rush into the cage.

“Good girl,” he praises as if I’ve been remotely obedient. He spins the metal collar around and unclips the leash before shutting the door. “Turn around, face the gate,” he demands.

It’s not easy. The space is barely big enough for me to move, but I manage to curl up tight enough to face him before I sit on my ass and pull my knees to my chest.

He reaches through the bars on one side from the top. “Give me your hand.”

I don’t dare disobey him. I’m too exhausted anyway. It’s done. I’m in his fucking kennel. It’s shut and locked. I’ve run out of energy to fight him. I’m not even surprised when he shackles my wrist to the top of the frame before rounding and doing the same on the other side.

Next, he squats down in front of me. “Spread your knees until they touch the bars,” he orders.

I’m sobbing as he wraps a strap around my thigh above my knee and secures me to the bar on one side and then the other. He pulls up a chair and sits, elbows on his knees. He’s close enough that he can reach through and touch me, which he does.

First, he strokes my wet cheek. “Fuck, I love your tears, precious.”

I sniffle. Damn him.

He smiles. Fucker. “You’re so angry right now that you’d stab me if you could.”

I’d stab him ten thousand times until the entire room was covered in his blood. I snarl because it’s all I can do.

He tugs on the rubber gag. “It’s a bit, precious. The sort of thing used for horses or feral dogs. I’ll keep it handy for whenever I think you need it. It helps take you down a peg when you’re being feisty. I don’t care if you scream. No one in this house will care, and we’re far enough from any neighboring properties that they won’t hear you. But sometimes you’ll need to be quiet. Everyone who lives here has homework. We don’t want to annoy them with your incessant whining.”

I scowl. I’m so fucking mad my face feels like it will explode.

Silver reaches his other hand between the bars and adjusts the bit, tightening it. Asshole. “It’s rubber, so you can bite down on it and not hurt your teeth,” he tells me conversationally as if he’s describing something totally inane, like how to flip a pancake without burning myself.

Fucker.

His hands lower, his pointer fingers trailing down my neck and chest until they flick over my nipples.

I moan and arch and writhe. I don’t want him to touch me. I’m furious.

He chuckles before gripping both pointy tips and twisting them. “Your body is fucking spectacular. Breaking you is going to be my divine pleasure.” He gives another pinch. “And, precious, I will break you. It’s what I was born to do. I’m convinced you were placed in my path because you’re my perfect match.”
