Feeling his ass clamp around my dick sets me off. My vision blurs as I unload deep inside him.

Now that was ecstasy.

When I come down from the high, I try to pull out, only to remember my moth anatomy. My claspers still have Arie in a tight grip. As we catch our breaths, I ask, “You feel okay?”

“Amazing.” He rubs his face. “You?”

“I’m great. The claspers won’t come off, though.”

“Oh well. I guess we’re stuck here for like, what, an hour?”

“If we’re lucky.”

He buzzes his lips and awkwardness sets in. Is this too weird for him? “So, uh…wanna listen to a podcast on Spookify or something?” he asks.

We end up in hysterics, with me, still soft and inside him. I’m bound to him with my claspers, and Arie still desires me. He makes me laugh, and I seem to make him happy still, despite my strange anatomy. I don’t know how I lucked out with a guy like him, but I’m not going to take him for granted.

Right now, I’m going to chill and listen to music with Arie Baker while we’re tied up in bed, literally. I can’t think of many better ways to spend my morning, and possibly, the rest of my life.

Epilogue

MORT

(Five months later)

“And that’s all for today’s vlog!” I wave at the webcam attached to my laptop. “I want to thank you all for joining me on this episode. Like and comment below to let me know what you want to see. Until next time, this is the mothboy, saying…” I smile and make my voice high-pitched when I say my old catchphrase, “What’s a mothboy to do?” They seem to love that phrase. “Nothing to do but sign off. See you in the next one.” I give a salute and a smile, then click my keyboard. There, all finished.

“Great job!” Arie smiles and rubs Reginald’s head.

“Squawk!” the bird says, and we laugh.

“Reginald thinks you did a good job too.” Arie looks divine in his monster form, with black feathers flowing off his shoulders, face, and arms. He’s shirtless, wearing only pajama pants, and sitting in our bed. His skinny boy abs look just as delicious as they did nine months ago. I’m surprised I was able to do any vlogging with this sexy guy distracting me in the corner.

“He thinks you sounded and looked very appealing.”

“Oh, was I now?” I crawl over to Arie in bed, and I’m sure he can sense my horny grin. “Is he the only one who thinks so?”

Arie giggles, and his bird flies off. I crowd Arie’s space and his hands gently land on my neck. “I also think you were very sexy on camera.” Arie lightly kisses me then pulls back. “But then again, I’m blind. So take that for what it’s worth.”

“You ass,” I say through a laugh. I lightly hit Arie with a pillow, and we both end up cracking up. We play fight for another minute before we both lie down. I lie on his chest as I catch my breath and allow myself to reflect on the immensity of the last several months.

It took a few months, and two sets of trials, but Selena and her father are both incarcerated. They’re only locked up for a year, and afterward, they’ll be on serious parole, as well as a restraining order. Meanwhile, Arie’s mom took a plea deal, and is working on a hundred hours of community service. He’s still mulling over when he’s willing to forgive her. He and I are simply content to keep the monster-haters in his family as far away as possible from now on.

It’s a good thing the trials were private, or my former celebrity status might have made it big internet gossip. I’m gradually embracing my place in history as the little mothboy from TV. After reading several years’ worth of fan mail, I realized that people do care about my legacy from That’s my Mothboy. I’ve gone to a few sessions of campus counseling to reconcile who I was with who I am now. After talking it over with Arie, my boyfriend agreed to help me establish an online presence and a vlog.

I haven’t even posted my first episode yet, but I already have hundreds of followers on my social media. And I’ve never felt better about my past.

Still, today is the day I face the worst and best part of my childhood. I recently reconnected with my brother. We’ve done calls and texts, but I haven’t physically seen him. He doesn’t sound furious, but that could change when he sees me.

“You good, babe?” Arie asks while rubbing my antennae.

“I think so.” I place my chin on his chest and study him. I can’t believe someone who shines brighter than the Sun wants to be with a grumpy moth like me. “Today has been a long time coming.”

“You mean graduation day for the seniors?” His brow furrows. “Don’t worry. Tanner told me Seth is still going to be managing Mummy Mocha even though he’s no longer an undergrad. No need to be sad and miss him.”

We both laugh, and I hit him with a pillow again. When we calm down, Arie’s hand trails down to my wings. I shiver at the sensation. Arie knows how to drive me wild and comfort me all at once.

“No matter what your brother says, or does, I’m still on your side,” he says in a serious tone.
