When she closed her eyes again, I lightly shook her. “No more sleep. We have to get to Cara’s. She has information about your father.”

Brittney sprang up immediately. She dismounted me and got out of bed in all her naked glory. All I could do was admire her voluptuous frame. Her D-cup tits sat up nice and perky. Her thighs were thick yet smooth. And don’t get me started on her ass. I loved that she had more ass than my two hands could hold onto.

When she caught me staring at her perfectly waxed bald kitty, she shielded herself with her hands. “Nu-uh, Christian. Ms. Kitty is closed down for healing time.”

I leaned over on my side, holding my stomach, laughing. We had gone many rounds the night before. For some reason I just couldn’t stop myself. I heard Brit snicker before she went into the bathroom. After I heard the shower turn on, I followed her into the bathroom. One hour later, we were dressed and walking to Cara’s.

When she answered the door, she had Jasper, her youngest child, cradled in her arms, feeding him a bottle. Brit nearly melted. “Aww, he’s so cute.”

Cara beamed with pride. “Thanks, come on in.” She pulled the door open further, letting us in.

As soon as I stepped inside, the aroma in her house made my stomach growl. Brit and I hadn’t eaten before coming over because she was so anxious to get here.

“Dang, it smells good. What did you cook for lunch?” I asked her.

“Stuffed salmon with cream cheese and spinach, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Why? You want some?”

I looked at her like she had grown two heads. She knew the answer to that question. “You already know, so stop playing.”

Cara laughed, nodding her head. “Okay, go ahead and fix you and Brittney a plate. There are plenty of extras in there.”

I held my arms open. “Where’s the hospitality? Why aren’t you fixing my plate?” I asked, just to fuck with her.

Cara’s head jerked back as she mugged me. “Do I look like Florence from The Jeffersons to you? You better fix your own damn food,” she fussed before turning around and making her way to the living room.

I turned to Brit, who was giggling her head off. “Go ahead and take a seat in the living room. I’ll go fix our food.”

She nodded, following after my sister. When I walked into the kitchen, I froze. The rest of her kids were seated at the table eating along with Viper. I hadn’t seen them since they whooped my ass at my parents’ house that day. Viper threw his head back, laughing like a damn hyena at my reaction.

Hurriedly, I made my way to the stove and fixed our food. I could feel their eyes on me. By the time I walked out of there, Viper was still laughing. I set our food down on the folding tray table that was placed in front of Brit. My ass wasn’t good in my seat before I was digging in. My eyes rolled to the back of my head. As good as I was at cooking, I didn’t have shit on my mother and sisters.

Whenever they cooked, they always made extras because someone was bound to come over to get a plate. By the time we finished, Cara was done feeding Jasper, and he was napping in his swing.

“Before we get into all the serious stuff, I have to ask, have you looked at the Summit stock today?” Cara questioned me as soon as I came back from taking our dishes to the kitchen.

I shook my head, dropping down on the sofa. “No, I slept kind of late. And then I came straight over here once I saw your text. Why? Did something happen?”

Cara smirked. “It shot up forty percent last night.”

My eyes widened. “Holy shit. That would make our payout around…” I trailed off, trying to do the math in my head.

“Five point seven million,” Cara answered for me.

Brittney started choking on her tea. No pun intended. I looked over, smirking at her perplexed expression. I patted her back until she got herself under control.

She rubbed her chest, her head ping-ponging between Cara and me. “Christian, I know you said you make the majority of your income by investing, but that’s a lot of money.”

Cara smacked her teeth and laughed. “He won't even notice the difference in his bank account.”

I knew what Cara was getting at, so I just shook my head. Brit frowned at Cara in confusion. “He won't notice nearly six million dollars?” she asked in disbelief.

Cara looked at me with playful eyes. “She doesn’t know?” She pointed at Brit.

“Know what?” Brit asked, sitting forward.

“Brittney, you’re with the richest sibling. Your man is worth over seventy million dollars.”

Brittney gasped, clutching her chest. Cara found that hilarious and fell over onto the couch, cracking up. Brit's eyes were so wide, I swear I thought they were about to fall out of her head.
