I notice Killer wince as the old timers look his way, and I sigh, “All in favor of the old timers to go back to a one meeting a month, say aye.”

All brothers around the table say ‘Aye’, and the old timers groan. I shake my head and mention, “Since we’ve taken over, we’ve brought in triple what you men were bringing into the club. Let us do the jobs you all forced on us, or we’ll give you the helm back, and we’ll sit back and relax.”

Chains narrows his eyes at the threat, trying to be scary, but the humor is clear as day. I smirk before I look at my little brother and command, “Tell Cage your shifts, I need to get to my woman.”

He chuckles but nods and says, “I’m off for another three days before I have five days with the fire house, then two graveyard shifts with the ambulance.”

Cage types up his shifts before looking at Trick, who adds, “Seven days beginning after church, actually. We are a doctor short, and my wife will be with me for three of those seven starting tomorrow.”

“I uh, don’t want to interrupt, but Willow?” his dad asks hesitantly, and Trick chuckles, “You can have her,” and the man fist bumps the air, making us all laugh.

Shaking my head, I mention, “My woman is due back to work again tomorrow,” and Trick nods and comments, “I’ll keep an eye on her brother.”

I give him a smile in return before Cage mentions, “Speaking of Blair, the prospects have laced her sister's home. Apparently it already had a lot of coke there, and a raid was done this morning. A warrant is out for both hers and her husband's arrest.”

I nod, and I confirm, “The trailer fire has been classed as electrical gone wrong.”

Cage nods, then reminds me, “You said you had something to say?”

I swallow but nod as Crusher squirms in his seat. I look around the room, every eye on me, though I don’t miss the weird looks my little brother is getting.

He’s concerned about how the brothers will cope with missing my wedding, and he was there, fuck, I think Alice is also concerned, but more because of Clark and Alex, but this is what my wife and I wanted.

“While I was at the seaside with Blair, we got married on the beach,” I admit, causing everyone to freeze, so I add, “Crusher married us while Alex, Kayden, Ms. Hallows and Alice witnessed.”

Chaos immediately ensues, and I nod as I lean back in my seat and wait them all out as they all shout at me for not including them. The one brother other than Crusher not losing it is shockingly, our father and I tilt my head at him.

He’s hurt, that much is obvious, but he’s also showing gratitude.

“Thank you,” he says, causing everyone to glare at him, but he continues, “You didn’t have to include Alice, but you did, so thank you, and I’m proud that you’re letting Blair in, that you are trying to put your fears that I caused aside for her.”

“I’d do anything for her,” I say, and I look around the table, “Including giving her a romantic beach wedding with only a few people and our dog because her parents are gone.”

“Fuck’s sake, when you put it like that, we can’t be mad,” Chains groans, and I chuckle.

“Look, you are all my family,” I say as I lean forward and rest my arms on the table, “I love you all. You’ve been there for me every fucking second even before it came out about Killer, you all had my back. You cleared up a murder that I didn’t even know I was being manipulated into doing, but my wedding, you have to understand that the setting, it was Blair and me. It was us and if you want to throw a party then fine, whatever, but the ceremony, if you haven’t realized from my little brother here, and Cage and Knuckles, we like them small. More so, we know it is what our women want and it is what Blair needed.”

“We understand,” Trick says, “and we are all so fucking happy for you both. Know you have us, we’re here when you need us, day or night.”

I give him a nod in thanks, gratitude filling me.

“Okay, so we’ll get a wedding reception organized for this weekend. We can let the old ladies plan it because let's face it, they are going to be pissed,” Cage says, and I chuckle. He states, “The club bunnies will not be present, as it stands, they are all on probation for the rest of the month, all single brothers are finding their needs met at the strip club.”

“Did Pinkie blab who the two other club bunnies were?” Bones asks, but Cage shakes his head.

“Nah, she kept quiet, but she did also leave without a word after allowing Trick to give her an ultrasound proving she wasn’t pregnant, so I guess there was that. There are now discreet cameras in every room, but only pointed where the condoms are kept until further notice. I won’t have the bunnies try shit. I don’t care if I have to kick them all out and just hire a cleaning service,” Cage says, and we all nod while the old timers wince knowing not to open their mouths this time.

When it came to the bunnies before Cage took over, if they fucked up, they kept them, but Cage runs a different ship which he has proven tenfold since he returned home.

They fuck up, then they are gone.

“We’re not a brothel, we’re a brotherhood, a family,” I state, seeing the older generation’s reaction, and they all nod.

“Alright, church dismissed, next week we’ll discuss the next run with the Dark Angels,” Cage says, then looks at the old timers and states, “You men are welcome in church next month, it’s time you backed off and let us do our jobs.”

Chains grins while Killer frowns, and I roll my eyes while Crusher huffs at our father's reluctance.

Just because he’s in here doesn’t mean we’ll want a relationship with him. If anything, the more he opens his mouth, the more he’s proving he doesn’t trust us. It’s just pushing us further away, especially Crusher after he proved repeatedly over the years that he didn’t trust him with the role I now have.
