“You’ll never be lonely again,” I promise, and her eyes tear, but she soon laughs when I mutter, “Though I know I will be when you’re on nights…”

She leans forward and gently presses her lips against mine before she asks, “What are we going to do about my sister and Elenor?”

“They won’t stop, baby,” I say truthfully, “I have to do something to keep you and our baby safe. I need to call Cage, and I don’t want to hide anything from you because this baby, it changes a lot, and it will be in danger from both women.”

She nods and whispers, “Okay,” without hesitation at the thought of our baby being harmed, before she presses her lips against mine, then puts her face into my neck, instantly relaxing me.

With one hand in her hair, running my fingers through it, I grab my phone off the arm of the chair and bring up Cage’s number, pressing on it before putting it on speaker.

“Brother?” he answers, completely alert.

“I would have thought you’d be asleep,” I say, and he groans, “I’m on the couch,” and I raise a brow.

“What did you do?” I ask with a chuckle.

“Drew’s blaming me for being knocked up again so close after having CJ now that Pinkie has been kicked out of the club,” he admits, and I laugh, but I soon grin wide when my girl whispers, “Tell her our babies can grow up together, she’ll be so happy she’ll let you back in your bed.”

“Fuck,” Cage chokes, “Congratulations, you two, I’m so fucking happy for you and Blaze, brother, this is amazing, do you understand me? You’ll be the best fucking father, especially when you have that woman by your side. You will flourish, and I can promise you now, once she has that one, you’ll want her to have a litter.”

“Bellamy, who are you on the phone with?” Drew snaps, and Cage replies, “Blaze and Blair, they’re having a baby,” and she gasps, then squeals, “We can go through this together!” causing me to chuckle.

“I’ll be up in a minute,” he says, and she shouts, “Okay, I need to look up classes for Blair and me.” Completely forgetting that she’s blaming Cage for her pregnancy, and Blair grins wide as Cage mutters, “Thank you, Blair,” and I laugh again as Blair hums.

Running my fingers through my girl's hair, I mention, “We need to discuss my girl's sister, brother-in-law and Elenor…”

“Talk to me,” he says, more seriously.

“Poppy and Mitchel paid for that man to attack and kill my girl,” I begin, and Cage growls as I finish, “While El was screwing him and without knowing a bounty was already put on my girl, promised him anything he wanted if he raped my girl.”

“Fuckers!” he grunts before saying, “Alright, here is what we’re going to do, because I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Blair doesn’t want her sister in the ground?”

Blair shakes her head, and I confirm, “No, she doesn’t,” and he hums then mentions, “We can have a prospect do what they did to your girl, plant drugs, only not just behind the toilet, but all over the property, including tipping cocaine on the side to make it look like they’re dealing. They’ll be locked up for years…”

Blair tenses, but she nods, and I confirm, “She’s agreed.”

“Okay, now, El, her personality, the one you wanted to save her from, it’s one that you can’t take lightly. She will turn feral, and even if we can get her locked up, she’ll know enough people on the outside to still come after your girl,” he mentions, “Including the Chargers who will do anything to get rid of us and will love nothing but to sell an MC child.”

“You have to kill her?” Blair confirms, and I wince but nod, and she burrows into my neck, and I confirm, “We’ll get a club vote,” and he sighs, “Alright,” before saying, “church in two days to give you some time with your girl, and we’ll call in Crash. Brother, I am so goddamn happy for you, and I’m proud of you.”

That said, he hangs up, and I turn my head and kiss my girls before she mutters, “You need to speak to Halsy, she deserves to know…”

“Okay,” I agree without hesitation, knowing this is hard for my girl, and I bring up her number and put the phone back on speaker.

“Hey, stranger, how's your girl?” Halsy answers after three rings, “Let her know I got into that teaching course in LA, and I couldn’t have done it without her help.”

I grin at the large smile on my girl's face, and I reply, “She’s good and really fucking happy for you, well done, Halsy.”

“Thank you, I need a fresh start, I think, far away from here,” she says, “El has gone off the deep end, Blaze, she’s trying to get men to attack Blair, you need to stop them.”

“One already did Halsy, and we found out she was pregnant after she was taken to the ER for a possible concussion,” I say softly, and she sucks in a breath before a sniffle sounds down the line as she realizes why I’ve called. Guilt hits me because this woman doesn’t deserve this shit.

“You do what you need to do, Blaze, I’m not going to beg you because she’s become dangerous especially to you, your club and your girl. Maybe it is a good thing I’m not staying in town, I just need to find a quicker way out because she’s already trying to give me a bad name. A guy tried to break in and attack me yesterday and I knew then that I needed to leave,” she chokes and I sigh.

“I’m sorry, Halsy,” I murmur, and she sniffles.

“It is what it is, for years she's been going down a dangerous path and honestly she thought she was invincible when you said you’d claim her and all she saw was money signs,” she says then sighs, “I’ll double up on my shifts at the café, and see maybe if there is board at the college in LA, but I should be gone within the month, if you can wait until then? I can’t watch her...”

Her words trail off, not able to say it, and I wince. I don’t want to wait, no fuck that, I can’t, but maybe I could help her?
