“That’s what she thinks,” I murmur to Snow before I hear, “Uh, brother?” and I look to see every eye on us, mouths open, though Alice has the biggest fucking grin on her face.

Clearing my throat, I stand and wrap my arm around Blair, who looks at me with wide eyes, seeing all the attention on us. I mean fuck, Drew is still on top of a bloody Pinkie, both still staring at us in shock.

“Brothers, I’d like to introduce you to my old lady, Blair,” I say, and Crash grins wide before punching the air, shouting, “I did that, I set them up, Ms. Hallows owes me one!” and I laugh as Blair groans, “There will be no living with him now…” as she shakes her head, before she asks, “So uh, what did that woman do?”

I wince as I look back at Drew, who blinks before she mutters, “Poked holes in the condoms of the officer brothers, including my husband's. She clearly was hoping to get him in bed, and now I think I may be pregnant again, and CJ is only six months old…”

Blair nods, then says, “Okay, continue,” and Drew smirks before slamming Pinkie’s head down on the ground, who screams, and I wince while everyone unfreezes. Cage quickly rushes forward, realizing he’s allowing his old lady, who could be pregnant, to kick the shit out of someone.

“Ouch, that looked like it hurt,” Blair mutters, and I look at her to see CJ laying his head on her shoulder, which makes me smile.

“How was work, baby?” I ask her, and she sighs, “Belle was put on her last warning today,” and the room quietens again with her words.

Ah fuck…

“What did she do this time?” Clark asks, and Blair winces.

“Made accusations that Trick made sexual advances to her this morning to try and get him fired,” she says, and my mouth drops while Trick growls in anger, and Blair continues, “Schedule proved he wasn’t in, clearly he’s here, security cameras also proved he hadn’t been in today but Dr. Love vouched for her, claiming her mom overdosed or something and that she’s crying out for help. She’s off shift at nine, then has been given five days off to figure her shit, but one more complaint, then she’ll be fired.”

Crash shakes his head before storming towards us, muttering, “Looks like I need words with my girl.”

He kisses Blair's head, and she gives him a sad smile before he leaves, and I run my fingers through my girl's hair as CJ snoozes, and Pinkie’s cries echo around us again.

“I want you to meet Crusher's mom,” I murmur, and she looks at me, “She wants to be what Ms. Hallows is to you, to me,” and my girl melts and nods, knowing it isn’t easy for me.

I guide her over to well, fuck, to my family, Crushers smile wide as shit.

“Little brother, I believe you know Blair?” I say and he nods with a grin and I sigh then nod to Killer, “Blair this is Killer, my biological father,” and she gives him a small smile while he looks ready to fucking ball which is weird to see. I turn my girl to Alice whose wiping falling tears, “This is Alice, Crusher’s mom who has a very good heart and helped me come to terms with wanting you.”

Alice sniffles as Blair steps forward and side-hugs her, and whispers, “It’s nice to meet you,” while Cage mutters, “I'm not getting my son back any time soon, am I?” and I laugh because probably not, and the man grins while keeping hold of his wife who is trying to get back to Pinkie as the prospects drag the half-conscious woman out.

That boy is content and fuck, I can imagine her being a mama and as her and Alice begin talking, Crusher wraps his arm over my shoulders, whispering, “You are a better fucking man than me for doing this for mom,” and Kayden plays with CJs foot gaining my girl’s attention who grins wide at him. While Killer, my father looks ready to break at what I’m trying to do, for my girl.

I just fucking hope I don’t hurt her, I hope I don’t do what my mom did to me to her or any child we may have because fuck, she deserves to be a mama.

Chapter 18

Blair – Two Months Later

“Are you sure you are alright to see him without Linc here yet?” Norman asks as he eyes my client pacing the reception area, not happy about waiting despite being here ten minutes early for his appointment, and I scrunch my nose.

He’s one client I cannot stand.

He’s very entitled, and his last accountant quit for reasons he wouldn’t elaborate, but after going through his files, I now understand, and I don’t trust him.

“I don’t really have a choice,” I mutter as I eye the man in a suit, “He’s a well-known figure, and I don’t want him spreading crap like he has done with his last accountant, trying to ruin their business. If we knew what he was really like, we wouldn’t have agreed to his account, but now we don’t really have any other option.”

“I don’t like this!” he snaps, and I hum because neither do I.

“What is taking so fucking long? I have shit to do!” the man snaps, and Norman tenses.

Well, this meeting is going to be fun.

Taking a deep breath, I say, “Send him in, then call Linc, because we both know he’s going to lose it when I mention the money he’s poorly tried to hide from the IRS,” and Norman growls but nods, knowing we don’t have a choice because the man is ready to pitch a fit.

He demands, “Keeping the fucking door open,” and I nod in agreement before he storms over to him. I stand and put my seat back in and pull out the one next to it before pulling out a chair two seats from where he will be sitting. I don’t trust him.

Just as I pull my seat out, the jackass walks my way, a look on his face that I can’t quite decipher, a look I don’t like, but I keep my face impassive.
