“Let me find out you’re telling the truth,” I replied as I rinsed the soap from my body.

“Turn around, and I can show you what I’m working with.”

I spun around, and my wife had knelt on the shower floor, and she was looking up at me with a sensual gaze. Her hands took me and pulled me into her mouth. My eyes drifted closed as I sank into the warmth of her sweet mouth, and she sucked me off, gripped my dick, and alternated her hands around it in a tantalizing motion.

It wasn’t long before I lifted her off her knees, wrapped her legs around me, and spread her folds with my thick girth. She easily slid down me, and I quietly, calmly pelted her insides with thunder.

My hands gripped her hair, and I covered her mouth with mine. She was the sweetest liquor that I could get drunk off at any time. I could never get enough of Kaimera; she was my lover, my best friend, my wife, and the mother of my child.

“You trying to go for number two, sir?” She moaned as I kissed down her neck.

We exchanged thrust for thrust, and our hands eagerly explored one another’s bodies.

“Numbers two, three, four, five—whatever you want, you can have it, beautiful.” I grumbled in a deep, husky voice against her ear.

“I want to cum.” She moaned.

“You can have that too.”

She released on me, and I was only seconds behind her. As we stepped out of the shower after a quick washup for her and a rewash for me, I asked, “How are you gonna explain that wet hair?” I asked.

She smirked as she swatted me on the ass. “I don’t have to explain anything. Your sister has secrets; I can have them too.”

I chuckled as she sashayed out of the bathroom. She was determined to find out who Niagara was having an affair with. I knew that some secrets were better left undiscovered—like what really happened to Jaziel. As long as there was breath in my body, my wife would never find out that truth. She didn’t need to know, and I knew that her mind couldn’t handle the dreams that would plague her. I had seen that in reality only a year ago. I refused to hurt her any more than others had already hurt her. There was only one purpose I had in her life—to be her protector, provider, and peace for everything that ailed her.

I heard laughter again as we headed downstairs together. This time, Niagara came out of the kitchen with a bright happiness glowing from her eyes as she held my son, Kieran, in her arms. She was chatting happily with Ashley and Domingo as she handed my little boy to me. I nuzzled my face in Kieran’s hair, but before I could do much more, Domingo shouted, “Kobe!”

“Wassup, kiddo?” I greeted my little brother with a high-five.

“Guess what?” he asked happily.

“What’s that?”

“I rode Rebel all by myself today.”

“You did?”

“Yep! Harold says that I did a great job too.”

“I’m sure you did,” I replied. Harold had done a great job of breaking Rebel in. “What about you, Ash? You rode Honey yet?”

My little sister smiled shyly at me. “I tried. I’m just getting used to her.”

“It’s okay. Take your time. She’s not going anywhere, and she’s a patient girl. Ain’t that right, Nia?”

“That she is. I used to love to ride her. Maybe I’ll take you out there tomorrow, and we can ride together,” Niagara suggested.

My little sister’s eyes lit up, and she asked, “Would you?”

“Of course,” Niagara replied.

Domingo and Ashley looked a lot alike except for Ashley’s fairer skin. I had paid the money for Domingo’s surgery and gone to meet him in the hospital. My heart melted when I saw the kid. He looked at my dad the same way that I used to—and when my dad died of a heart attack earlier this year, I knew that I had to step in, for him and Ashley both.

Niagara and I had taken our time to build a relationship with them, and I hadn’t regretted the decision at all. They spent every school break with us at the farm and sometimes at our home in the suburbs. We had a decent relationship with Edward’s wife, Erin, for the sake of the kids, and I was glad that she encouraged them to have a relationship with us.

Edward and I had never made peace before he died, and I was okay with that. He couldn’t own his responsibility in how he let our relationship fail, so he didn’t deserve anything from me. The worst part was that he continued ignoring my sister no matter how desperately she sought his love. I prayed she would find a man who knew how to care for and heal her heart.

EJ had settled down with a girl he’d met last year too. She was having a great impact on him, and Kaimera was glad that he was no longer running the streets. He was working on opening his own business for customizing cars and working with his boss to learn everything he could about the management aspects of owning a business. Our families had both endured a lot of hurt, but with time, we were finding healing.
