I push the door open, earning both sets of eyes. Synn stands to his full height, like the sight of me in his room jars him. Beth’s staring daggers into me, and that alone gives me the courage to walk over and stand beside the burly man.

“Find it?” I ask, looking in the drawer as if I give a shit about some pink beanie.

“What?” He stumbles over the word.

“The beanie.” I look around his tall frame to Beth. “A pink one, right?”

“Mhm.” Her lips are pressed in a tight line as she fixes her shirt. I place a deliberate hand on his chest, and flash a sweet smile at him, just as she tried to a few minutes ago.

“Well, can I help?” I run my hand down his pec, heading straight south. His eyes turn dark, a pleased smile spreading across his face.

“Sorry, Beth, I couldn’t find it.” He doesn’t take his eyes off of me as he regards the shocked woman on his bed. Beth reels, opening her mouth and closing it a few times, no doubt trying to find the words to regain control of him.

Looking over my shoulder, I see Hayze, his eyes burning a hole into Beth’s skull, then coming to rake over my body with a small nod of approval. That does it for me, solidifies this want for the broody brother.

I loop my arms around his neck, pulling him closer, as I gaze back at Beth with triumph flashing across my already smug face. Her face is red with rage, or embarrassment. She slips off his bed with a hump and brushes past Hayze to the front of the house.

Hayze nods to his brother once and spins, probably to lead the fuming woman out of the house without problem. Synn brings his attention back to me, or I guess I bring mine back to him, because I don’t think this man has stopped looking at me since I came in here.

“What are you doing, Rayvn?” His hands fall to the curves of my hips, resting there as if they were molded for them. His eyes are hooded, watching me with something that sends heat pooling in the pit of my belly.

“The better question is,” I push away from him, but his hands on my hips keep me locked in place. “When were either of you going to tell me that you were both on the table?”

“Never seemed like a good time to mention I was willing to sleep with you.” He teases. “Was I supposed to tell you between attempts of you running away? Or maybe right before I slammed the door shut to your small prison? Oh, I know, how about when I was butchering a man in front of your face while my brother fucked you from behind?”

“Okay, I get it.” I shove his chest. “But you’re still an ass for bringing her in here like that.” He rolls his eyes and wraps his arms around the small of my back.

“It was just to not bring attention to us. She’s been in here before.” Disgust quickly replaces the heat in my belly.

“You’ve slept with her?”

“Don’t get jealous now, little scarecrow. It was last year, and she’s a terrible lay.” I curl my lip, and he laughs in my face, a deep sound that vibrates between us and warms my insides far too much.

“Still, you brought her in here. She thought she was gonna get some.” I’m pouting, and well aware of it. But the sight of Beth in here after finally getting the permission to indulge myself in these feelings—makes my skin crawl.

“Ever think, little scarecrow, that I can’t stand the sight of another woman since laying my eyes on you?” His fingers trail down my spine, sending shivers trailing in the wake of his digits.

“Ever think that I haven’t been able to keep those puffy lips off my mind since trapping you in this life?” His mouth comes to the shell of my ear, brushing the sensitive skin as he confesses all the things I’ve felt for both of them.

“You’ve been so cold to me.” I try and keep my voice strong, but it comes out breathless and full of the need I feel pooling between my thighs. He steps closer, his frame looming over me now, and presses his hardened cock into my aching stomach.

“Cold?” His fingers loop into my hair, scratching lightly at my scalp, making me melt into his touch. “Or running from temptation?” His free hand moves from behind my back and closes around my throat, stealing the air from my lungs.

“Now, get on your fucking knees, Rayvn.” His lip curls back as he pushes me down to the ground with his hand on my throat. Pulling my lip between my teeth, I let myself be guided down until the cold concrete floor meets my knees.

He releases my neck just long enough to unbutton his jeans and tug them down. My eyes almost budge out of my head. His legs are covered in ebony ink, and his pants aren’t even off all the way. I bring my hands up to his thighs, anticipation making me antsy.

“Tell me, have you been thinking about this?” The truth is, I’ve thought about taking both of them at once too many times to count. Instead of spilling my insanity, I nod my head, gulping back the nervous lump in my throat.

“I’ve told you about this, little scarecrow.” His hand comes to my cheeks, pinching them together and forcing my gaze to his. “You speak to me when I ask you something.”

Releasing me, I fall back, having to brace myself with my palms. “Yes, sir.”

His brows pinch together for a moment, an internal battle playing out in his head. He grimaces, reaches down and hooks his index finger in the collar around my neck. I’m yanked to my feet, the world spinning from the sudden change in posture.

His mouth collides with mine, a low and guttural growl spilling into mine. His hands are in my hair, roaming my body, slipping between my thighs—everywhere. I meet him for every move, running my own hand through his dark hair, and rubbing against his still confined hard-on.

“Rayvn,” He breaks from my mouth, leading me towards his bed.
