She makes a cut at the seam of my neckline.

“The fuck are you doin’? I like this shirt.” It’s a vintage band tee of Collette, and when I bought it online, I had to pay triple for shipping to get it in time for the tour.

“It’s a knockoff, little lamb. Surround yourself with enough phonies and you’ll forget what’s real.”

Meeting my eyes, she slices all the way down the shirt, the tip of the blade nicking me several times in the process.

“Shit, Collette,” I say, glancing down at the beads of blood now dotting my abdomen.

Her eyes glued to mine, she guides the useless material off my shoulders before balling it up to tuck under her skirt, cleaning herself up.

“I thought you were supposed to come on my face, not your own,” I say, gesturing to the shirt with her face on it while stroking my cock through my jeans.

“Speaking of cum…” She pulls the shirt back out. “We’re going to redraw the lines we just blurred.”

“Redraw? Nah. Let’s erase ’em.”

She doesn’t go for it though, just ignores me to say, “My cum’s on your finger.”

Trying to give me the shirt back to wipe my hand off, I shake my head at her. Sticking the same finger I just used on her into my mouth instead, I suck, tasting Collette in a way I’ve never tasted anyone before.

“And now your lips.”

Said lips open so I can drag my tongue over each knuckle slowly like I’m licking around an ice cream cone, making sure I get every last drop.

“Now mark my words. Just like your little…request…”

She waves a hand around, making me beam. It wasn’t a request and she fucking knows it.

“…you won’t be using this.” With one quick tug on my still-wet finger, she closes the distance between us. “Or this.” Her lips crash into mine, and we both groan, the taste of her cum on my lips but now also on hers. Before I can tackle her ass to the ground and obliterate this line bullshit once and for all, she pulls back, saying, “On anyone else either.”

What’s that? I can’t kiss anyone? Or even touch anyone? But…

But…

“Not so much as one finger, Julian. One. Finger. Got it?”

If “owned” had a face, it’d be mine right here, right now ’cause damn.

Collette

What was I thinking?

I finally give up trying to read and put the book down by my side on the bed. I’ve been staring at the same paragraph for the last thirty minutes, yet I can’t remember a single word.

Two days ago, I did something so stupid, I still can’t believe it. Kissing Julian was a mistake made in a moment of intense weakness. I can admit that. Letting him touch me after—no, telling him to touch me after—was even worse. Understandable because, hello, I haven’t had an orgasm that wasn’t at my own hands for several weeks now, but that’s still not a great excuse. I should’ve known better. I do know better.

I don’t date celebrities. I don’t sleep with them. I don’t kiss them. And I sure as hell don’t let them finger me next to a river in broad daylight.

Except I did.

And if I’m being completely honest, it didn’t feel very stupid. Far from it actually. Both the kiss and what happened after felt like nothing else I’ve ever felt before. Letting loose with Julian feels…right. Being with Julian, period, feels right.

I groan, rolling to my side to press a hand to my chest, rubbing small circles. Why Julian? Why now?

I know why. Because he’s proving to be more than just a celebrity. He’s already proven to be more than Bodee and I still don’t even know him that well. The parts I do know, I like. The sober parts anyway. The rest…is what’s causing all this heartburn. That and the fact that I kinda, sorta tried to make us exclusive…without us even…dating.

Are we dating?
