I can’t go wrong
“It’s Ravaged,” Caspian replies calmly. “That’s the band.”
“Oh yeah,” I say. “They’re a cool band. You can see why they always top the charts.”
I turn back to the bar to order another round of shots, hoping to maybe dance with Caspian to this song, when I suddenly slip and fall.
Crap…
I see the alcohol-stained ground rush up to meet me.
And then everything blacks out.

ELSA
“You okay, Elsa?”
I wake up to the sound of Caspian’s deep voice. I have to admit, it’s a very soothing sound to wake up to. I blink open my eyes to see his rugged, bearded face close to my own, and a shudder runs up my spine.
He repeats his concern.
“Are you okay?”
I nod my head and that’s when I realize I’m lying down on a bed.
We’re not in the bar… there’s no music…
“Where am I?” I ask.
Caspian frowns. “My place.”
“What? We were at the bar a moment ago. How did I end up here?”
“I carried you.”
Hearing Caspian’s explanation is the perfect moment when my body decides to throw up. Luckily, Caspian is already holding a bucket in preparation for this moment. It turns out that I’m actually pretty good at aiming and Caspian is pretty good at sliding the bucket under my face and holding my hair back.
The room is spinning by the time I sheepishly look back up at Caspian.
“I’m so sorry,” I say. I feel disgusting.
“It’s okay,” he replies. “As long as you’re okay.”
“I’m alright. Just a bit dizzy, but it’s fading.”
“Should I get the doctor?”
“No,” I reply. “It was just a stupid fall. I should be alright.”
“Really?”
“Trust me, I’m a nurse.”
Caspian frowns again. He’s such a worrier.
“You sure?” he asks.
