Sage looked at her. Hearing the seriousness in her voice he knew she meant what she said and he knew that wherever she was he would be there too. They fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Come on, you're going too slow!" a little voice shouted. Mia turned as saw a little boy with a trolley close behind him. It appeared that the trolley was attached to a dog who was supposed to be pulling the trolley.

"What's the problem, handsome?" Mia asked. The boy looked up at her with tears in his eyes. He was close to letting them run down his cheeks before he sniffed and blinked them away.

"Dodger is going too slowly. He needs to run!" the boy explained. The dog that was pulling the trolley looked exhausted and extremely old.

"I think Dodger is tired,” Mia tried to explain. The boy looked shocked at the idea.

"But we've just started playing, mommy,” he said to her. She reached over and ruffled his hair. His cute little voice ringing in her ears.

"I know you have but you see Dodger is getting old, sweetheart. He can't play for too long anymore,” she said. The little boy looked at the dog, sadness crossing his face.

"Is he going to die?" he asked.

"Of course not!" Mia said as she tried to reassure the child.

"Hey! Let's go! We have places to be and people to see,” Sage called from behind them. Mia smiled at her little family.

Mia smiled and sighed in her sleep as she zoned in on the dream she was having, allowing it to fill her heart with happiness and love. She slid closer to Sage in her sleep, his body bringing a sort of reassurance to her as she inhaled his scent. Her dreams with Sage had increased the more she slept next to him, though she didn't mind that much. They brought her happiness because it made her look forward to sleep. Her dreams were the one thing she could have that no one could take away from her. They were a secret life that she could create where she and Sage were together and had a family.
