Your family sounds pretty great. I bet you miss them.

I do. Being on my own this season has been harder than I care to admit.

Georgie

I’m sorry. As an only child, I can only imagine what that’s like to go from having built-in company your whole life to being alone.

Logan

It’s been easier lately.

Georgie

Because you’re nearing the end of the season?

Logan

I’ve become friends with this really cool girl I met in a coffee shop.

And her niece thinks I’m awesome.

Georgie

I think the girl at the coffee shop thinks you’re awesome, too.

Logan

True. I have it on good authority that I’m the girl’s favorite player.

Georgie

You’re not supposed to know that.

Logan

Lulabelle told me during Spring Training. A guy doesn’t forget something like that.

Georgie

I think I’d like you better if you did.
