“Those look so damn good.” I bite my lip as the old familiar ache begins to build in my belly. He unhooks my bra, freeing me. “Like, huh?”
I slowly bob my head with a wide-eyed stare. “Yes, I like you.” I giggle. “I think I might love your cock.” His lips part as he lowers his head. A delicious knot forms in my lower tummy.
“You like me, but you love my cock?” He stares at me blankly. I suppress my laughter, knowing it’s driving him crazy. “How do you like me now?” The evilest grin fills his face. “Well, I’ll be a motorboatin’ son of a gun!” He buries his face between my boobs and begins to blow, moving his head back and forth.
I watch as Walker is beat in the face with my swinging breasts. I cackle, throwing my head back as I scream. “I hope you get whiplash, asshole.” Kicking my legs as he continues his onslaught.
“Do you give up?” I glare at him. “Tell me you love me.” He narrows his eyes. “Tell me, Red.” I see it before it happens, the glint in his beautiful blues giving him away.
“Don’t.” I thrash. “Don’t you dare.” He leans in, his lips make contact with my belly and before I can stop him, he delivers a raspberry. He presses harder when I squirm, making the horrible sound. “Okay. You win. You WIN!”
He stops, coming over to me. “Tell me. I wanna hear you say it.”
“I love you, Walker Ian. With all my heart.”
He bends, smashing his lips to mine. “Let’s shower.”
Such an asshole. But he’s mine.
I’ve smiled the entire day. For a Wednesday, that’s good. Walker and I ended a horrible day the best way possible, sex and laughing. This can’t be my life. He’s supportive and helps me any way he can. And when I look at him, I know he loves me.
My phone buzzes, bringing my daydreaming to a screeching halt. “Hello.”
“Hey, Reese. It’s Jeffrey. How are you?” He sounds like he’s whispering. I can barely hear him.
“I’m good. How are you? You sound off.”
“That’s good to hear. I’m not feeling well, cold maybe.” My stomach rolls, nausea building. I begin to sweat.
“I hope you feel better soon.” I swallow hard.
“I was hoping you’d meet me and we could talk a little more.” He’s breathless and the pang in the pit of my stomach twists.
“Sure.” I rub the tension from my neck. “I have an hour or so this evening.”
I need to finish packing. We have plans to move my things in this weekend.
“That would be great. Thank you.” He coughs, wheezing when he does.
“Same place?”
“Umm, no. I’m at Waccamaw Community.” His cough is persistent, and he labors to breathe.
“The hospital?”
“Yeah, I’m okay. Just this cough.” He’s breathless.
My chest becomes heavy. “I’ll be there around six.”
“Okay, sweetheart. Thank you.” He hangs up the phone.
As soon as I have a dial tone, I call Walker.
“Hey, baby.” Walker’s deep baritone rumbles through the phone.
“Jeffrey called. He’s in the hospital.” I hold my stomach as it flips a million times.
A sound of a moving chair echoes over the phone. “Excuse me, Chord.” I wait for him. “Are you going to visit him?”
