They got it.

Bodhi was tired, and they knew he’d pulled an all-nighter for them. On top of that, he was going to take a hit to his career to help Ridge and his daughter.

“Thanks, Bo. We got it. We aren’t bothering you until you’re back on duty.”

That worked for him.

“Be safe.”

Then, he hung up.

Now with this call, it wasn’t making the situation any easier.

“I hate that Ridge is going to find out about that timeline,” Tori admitted. “He will get a copy of her death certificate, and as a businessman, he’ll make sure he sees his wife’s autopsy report.”

Yeah, they were aware.

Only, their hands were tied.

If there was any way to protect him from this, they absolutely would.

Only, what could they do?

He was going to eventually begin asking questions. When he did, they were going to have to answer them.

Well, Bishop would.

There was no doubt he’d come to her first, and then to Honor second.

So, she owned it.

“Lucian and I will handle this part,” she said. “It’ll be best to hear it from us because of the ties he has to Lucian.”

Okay, that was it.

Julian couldn’t handle it anymore.

“And it really doesn’t bother you at all that your husband, the man you married and took vows with, is sticking his dick in another person? His best friend?”

There was a gasp.

Tori stared at him.

“Jules! Not cool!” she warned.

It was clear that this was affecting not only Ridge, but Bishop. She had a headache, looked stressed, and now had this on her plate.

Immediately, he tried to back off, seeing the look his wife was giving him.

It screamed ‘mind your goddamn business’.

Instead, Bishop reassured her.

“It’s okay, Tori. I’m not going to get punchy. I know everyone is curious. The answer, Julian, is no. I’m really not bothered by them having sex in the static.”

Or here.

But this was NOT the time to ever bring that up.
