“Cam!”

The shrill voice of Satan called out from somewhere in the darkness.

Cameron groaned.

His head was throbbing, and his jaw felt like it was cracked in a million pieces.

“Cameron! Dumbass! Wake the hell up!”

This time, he recognized the fucking annoying voice.

Ace.

Did he not know that it was rude to wake people up when they were trying to sleep? Like seriously. What the fuck, dude?

“Okay, I give you permission to stick your dick in his mouth and wake him.”

Cameron’s eyes flew open.

“Well, that got his attention,” he heard Ace say from somewhere on his left.

Cameron turned his head to the smiling faces of Blade, Lucas, and Marcus, all chuckling or smirking, depending on which way you looked at it.

“Should I still stick my dick in his mouth?” Blade asked, reaching for his zipper.

“Only if you want me to cut it off and feed it to a family of scorpions,” Ace answered, giving his husband a “what the fuck?” look.

Blade chuckled. “I was only joking,” he defended, although with the way he was acting, Cameron wasn’t quite sure.

“What’s going on?” Cameron asked, sitting up on the couch.

“A neighbor walked by and found you passed out on the driveway. They gave Marcus a call. We just got here ourselves.” Ace looked around the living room. “Everything appears in order. Where’s Bash?”

Cameron’s eyes went wide.

Bash!

He bolted up from the couch and immediately regretted his decision. Nausea passed over him, and he swayed for a moment where he stood.

“Wow, sit down, bud. You’re looking a little green,” Ace suggested.

Cameron lowered himself back down on the sofa.

“They took him. A bunch of guys showed up at the house, attacked us, and threw him in a van. We’ve got to rescue him!” Cameron snapped.

Ace glanced at Marcus, who seemed to share their own psychic conversation.

Marcus nodded.

Ace pulled his cell phone out of his pocket, then began scrolling through his apps.

Curious, Cameron stood up and walked over to where Ace was searching through something on his phone.

“It looks like he is out on a ranch about an hour west of here,” Ace said, glancing up at Marcus.

Blade looked over at Ace and asked, “Now, how the fuck do you know that?”

Cameron could see the map and the little red dot on Ace’s phone, indicating where Basher was currently stopped.
