I know she deserves answers.
God, she deserves everything.
She deserves to know why I left.
Why I disappeared.
Why I stayed away for three miserable years.
And I swear to God I'm going to tell her.
Every ugly piece of it.
But right now?
Right now I just need her.
Need to feel her.
Need to know she's real.
Her fingers slide into my hair.
And immediately my entire body is on fire.
I’m completely gone for her.
And I can’t get enough.
I cradle her face with one hand, tilting her head as I lick into her mouth and share her breath.
She breaks the kiss first.
Not because she wants to stop.
I know Amanda.
I know that look.
She's just worried.
Always worried about everyone else.
“Less,” she whispers softly.
I bury my face in her neck.
“Don't,” I mutter.
“Baby—”
“I can't talk right now. Need you, Rusty. Please,” I beg.
Her arms tighten around me.
And Christ.
That's worse.
