He kisses me back instantly, his free hand cupping my cheek, his thumb brushing gently across my skin.

The kiss is still intense, it’s still a collision but now it feels more like an agreement.

Neither of us is walking away.

He pulls back just enough to speak.

“Ren,” he calls.

Oh shit.

He heard us fucking, I'd completely forgotten about him. My face floods crimson.

“How much time before we get the fuck out of here? The fastest way, before anyone else comes and finds their little friends.” He pauses, listening.

“Who the fuck do you think I am? Get it ready. I want it in five.”

He sets me back on my feet, tucking himself in then he looks down at me and grins.

I tilt my head, confused, smoothing down my dress even though it's already ruined.

“Well,” He says, flicking my forehead before clearing his throat, “We're leaving. Now.”

I rub my forehead and punch him in the ribs.

“And how do you intend to leave? We’re surrounded by cameras, guards are coming, you’ve been shot, I got hit, we can’t just—”

Evren's arms snake around my waist, bends down and throws me over his shoulder.

“What are you doing?!” I gasp in surprise. “Put me down right now, Evren!”

“Ren? Ready?” I feel his grip tighten around my thighs. “Hold on to me.”

“What? Why?”

I don't even have time to process the order before he starts running.

I lift my head and see guards turning the corner of the corridor.

Their faces shift from horror to lethal determination after seeing the bodies of their colleagues.

But we're not running toward the elevators.

“Where are we going?!” I shout.

“I said fucking hold on!” he snaps.

Suddenly, he leaps, a deafening crash drowns out the pounding footsteps and the guards' shouts.

For a heartbeat, I feel weightless.

What the fuck is happening?

I look up—a shattered window and no floor beneath us.

My eyes widen in pure terror, I scream and wrap my arms around his waist as tightly as I can.

“Fuck yeah! That’s right baby!” Evren howls, laughing.
