"I found fresh scrape marks near the stern."
Storm frowned.
"From us?"

Calle was kneeling near the swim platform.
She pointed toward the polished hull.
Two long scratches.
Fresh.
Metal against fiberglass.
Storm ran her fingertips lightly across them.
"They weren't here yesterday."
"No."
Ben crouched beside them.
"What could've done that?"
Calle shrugged.
"Another boat."
Storm looked around.
"We haven't been close to another vessel."
"Exactly."
Ward studied the marks.
"They're too even."
Ben nodded.
"Not accidental."
