"You're supposed to be relaxing."
Without looking up she answered,
"So are you."
"Touche."
She smiled.
"I learned from professionals."
"My sisters."
I laughed.
"I believe that."
She adjusted the binoculars.
"See those birds?"
I followed her gaze.
A flock wheeled gracefully above the water.
"What about them?"
"They're feeding."
"So?"
"So there are fish."
"And?"
"And where there are fish..."
She handed me the binoculars.
I scanned the water.
Then I saw it.
A fishing boat.
Small.
White.
Rocking gently in the distance.
"I found it."
Storm nodded.
"They're working the same school."
I lowered the binoculars.
