She smiled sweetly.

Storm smiled.
The laughter reminded her exactly why she refused to let fear spread through Sea Whisper.
People deserved peace until peace was no longer possible.
The smile faded when Calle's voice came over the radio.
"Captain."
Storm answered immediately.
"I'm here."
"I've got movement."
"Where?"
"The trawler."
Storm raised the binoculars.
The gray vessel was no longer holding position.
It was increasing speed.
Not dramatically.
Just enough.
Enough that no experienced captain would mistake its intentions.
"They're coming."
Ward stood beside her.
"Yes."
Ben never looked away from the horizon.
"They've made a decision."

The older man lowered his binoculars.
"Bring us alongside."
