“Storm, you just got out.”

“And I don’t plan on goin’ back.”

“I’ll make sure you do!” Kristy yells as I laugh.

“Don’t do this, Storm.” Jenson can plead all he wants but that isn’t going to stop me. Kenzee slowly walks over and stares at me as I watch her.

“Don’t,” she says softly.

“Aw, come on, Kenz. Look at me. You know how this goes.”

“No, Storm. It doesn’t have to,” she tells me. She steps closer, and I step back, pulling Kirsty with me. I slowly pull my arm from around her and bring it up to her chin, keeping my other hand on her head.

“My husband's a cop!” Kristy yells.

“You think I care? I’ve killed cops,” I remind her as I grab onto her chin. I keep my eyes glued to Kenzee’s as the guys keep talking, trying to talk me out of what I’m about to do. There’s no way to end this without doing this. She took a shot at Kenz. I can’t have her running around thinking that’s okay to do. Or try to come back and do it again. Hell, she could hire someone else to do it for her. She has connections.

“Storm,” Kenzee’s voice is soft and low as I smile darkly at her. Then I do it. With a quick and simple twist, I snap this bitch's neck. As soon as it’s done, I let her body drop to the floor in front of me as Kenzee bends over and throws up. Jenson rushes to her side as Patch comes up next to me.

“Fuck, Storm. You know what you’re doin’?”

“Yeah, I do.”

“You damn well better. Get rid of her,” he says, nodding toward the dead body on the floor. I keep my eyes glued to Kenzee as a few girls rush over and help her. She won’t look up at me and I don’t blame her.

“I got this. You go to her,” Tide tells me.

“It’s my mess.”

“Yeah, she needs you more than the mess. Got some shit to do anyway, I’ll take care of her,” he tells me. I nod my head before pulling a cigarette out and lighting it up. Then I walk toward the table where they put Kenz and stand there, watching her. When she finally looks up at me, I see the pain in her eyes.

“You see what I mean, Kenz? You see what I do?”

“You didn’t have to do that.”

“No?” I ask her, cocking my head to the side to stare at her. “She took a shot at you, Kenzee.”

“It…it was so close. I could hear it whizzing past me,” she says softly. I lean down and blow smoke into her face as I stare at her.

“And you wanted her alive? To what? Try it again?”

“You could have done something else, anything else.”

“Like what? Wait for her little cop husband to show up? I’m not goin’ back to prison, Kenz.”

“You don’t want to go to prison, but you blatantly kill people? Where the fuck do you think you’re going to go, Storm?” She screams this time as she stands to her feet and heads for the door. I watch her go when I catch a glimpse of Jenson. He’s staring me down before he nods toward her.

“What do you want from me, Jenson? Huh?” I roar, loud this time.

He doesn’t answer, just shakes his head and walks toward Kenzee as Tide lifts Kristy’s body and tosses her over his shoulder before making his way out of the clubhouse.

I turn to head for my room when I feel her fist slam into my back. I turn slowly and see that fire in her eyes once more. She pulls the cigarette from between my lips and drops it to the floor, stomping it out before she swings. And I let her. I let her take out all her frustration on me. I let her work out her anger as she beats the shit out of me.

The guys stand around watching, unsure what to say or do, so they do nothing. When I’ve had enough, I grab her and toss her over my shoulder like a rag doll while she screams and curses at me. I ignore her and carry her down the hall and straight into my room before slapping my hand roughly on her ass.

“You think you’re getting sex after that?” she screams. I chuckle as she fights before tossing her on the bed and grabbing my handcuffs. I move quickly as she’s still fighting me, but I manage to get her wrist and cuff it to the headboard.

“What the fuck is this?” She yells, tugging at the binds that keep her in place.
