“A lot more, I’m sure. That man been in prison for five years I’m sure he released all that backup on yo’ ass.”

“Took my ass all up and through there, sis!” I agreed before we slapped hands while stickin’ our tongues out.

“Wait a minute bitch. You still fuckin’ with Desmond, ain’t it?”

“Yesssss. I feel so fuckin’ bad man.”

“Does Nas know ‘bout Desmond?”

“Not only does he know ‘bout him but he wants to meet him because he’s supposed to be movin’ in with me and Nyla.”

“Movin’ in?! Ooh, you been doin’ all kind of shit behind my back! Movin’ niggas in with ya, fuckin’ on baby daddies, and sendin’ text messages to give updates. Ion like that for me.”

“Hell, I don’t like this for me. He wanna meet him tomorrow with me there and I gotta cook his favorite food. Yas what I’m supposed to do?”

“Cook that man his favorite food and pray it’s good enough for him not to fuck Desmond ass up. You know Nas don’t play when it comes to you.”

“This shit is too much.”

“Damn sure is. I’m glad this happenin’ to you and not me ‘cause baby this givin’ some book shit like I be readin’ while at work.”

“But it’s really my fuckin’ life doee.”

Chapter 6

Nas

“Cuz slow the fuck down, so we can make it back in one piece,” Chance warned from the passenger seat.

“Ooh shit, my bad,” I uttered while slowing down.

“You drivin’ this bitch like it pissed you off and you tryna stomp a mutt hole in the muthafucka.”

“Mannn,” I chuckled as we came to a red light. “It ain’t the car, it’s Nessa’s ass.”

“What?” he questioned as he snapped his head in my direction. “Nessa pissed you off? Like yo’ child’s mother, Nessa? Ain’t no fuckin’ way. What she did?”

“She gotta a nigga.”

“And he still alive?”

“Yes, he’s alive. I ain’t that type of person.”

“Shiiiiitttt. You sayin’ that like you ain’t the same nigga that punched a nigga so hard it broke his nose because he complimented you for havin’ a bad bitch.”

“Man, he got that two-piece ‘cause he shouldn’t have been gawkin’ at shit that’s rollin’ with me. Then, he had the fuckin’ nerve to let it be known he was lookin’. That nigga was lookin’ for ass whoopin’ movin’ like that.”

“Exactly! So, I can only think that you killed a nigga that’s claimin’ what’s yours.”

“I ain’t tryna move like that no more. I gotta think before Ireact, but I ain’t gonna lie I thought about the shit. Especially, because she thinks she ‘bout to move that nigga in with her and my child.”

“Oh, shit! So, they’re in a relationship, relationship. Wait, you said think, what you gonna do to prevent it?”

“Nothin’ too crazy. Just give her a lil’ gift that’s all.”

“A gift?”

“Yep. A gift. It may have a stipulation attached but she won’t care because what it is.”
