I climb into the truck bed.

I hesitate.

I sit beside him.
The movie starts.
An old romantic comedy I've seen at least four times.
Kane claims he hasn't.
I don't believe him.
Halfway through, I open the third box of Cracker Jack.
“That's your second.”
“False.”
“I watched you finish the first.”
“That doesn't prove ownership.”
“Hannah.”
I dig through the caramel popcorn.
“There's no prize.”
