“That girl is fired.” I chuckled, walking back over to the couch sitting down adjacent to Solana.

“Who you telling? But we just as crazy going along with it.” Solana sighed, sitting her phone down.

“I’ma rider. If my sister wanna be delusional, I’ma be delulu with her too.”

“Period.” Solana easily agreed. That was one of the reasons I found myself liking Solana. She was loyal, had a pure heart, and wasn’t judgemental. With all that my girl had been through, you would think life would have hardened her, but nope. Solana didn’t let life change her. She stayed true to herself no matter what.

“Lo’ still walking around with his ass on his shoulders?” I asked, Solana hadn’t really smiled as much as she usually did.

“Fuck him. He really getting on my nerves. He needs to go find Fallon and take his anger out on her ass. I swear if it wasn’t for Mason and Mallory, he’d have to get the fuck on.” Solana huffed out a deep breath.

“You better than me ‘cause them kids and him would have been sitting outside.” I snickered while sipping my wine.

“I can’t do that to them. Their entire lives have been uprooted because of their trifling ass mama. But something has to give, and soon,” Solana said with annoyance in her tone.

“It will. If Lo’ don’t wanna get his shit together, that’s his loss. You the prize, Solana,” I reassured her, and she smiled at me.

“Let’s get this over with.” Zaylee loudly groaned as she loudly raged from the bathroom. She was moving like she weighed 600 pounds. I shook my head at Zaylee’s overly dramatic self. Zaylee stood in front of her coffee table looking between me and Solana. “On the count of three, we’re going to all look.”

We both picked up our test off the table, when Zaylee started counting. “One…Two…Three.”

I wanted to pass the fuck out as I stared down at the two pink lines. This wasn’t fucking real life. I wasn’t fucking pregnant. Zaylee’s ass had to be playing a fucking prank on me, and this shit wasn’t funny.

“Bullshit,” I shrieked, standing to my feet, smacking my forehead with an open palm. I felt like I was about to start hyperventilating. “Ain’t no fucking way. Zaylee, please tell me these are joke tests or something. This shit says positive!"

“I thought you wasn’t fucking?” Zaylee skeptically questioned me with her eyes squinted. She was worried about the wrong shit. I hadn’t been fucking for the last six weeks, so I wasn’t lying about that.

“Girl, this nigga gon’ kill me. Literally. This can’t be real life.” I paced back and forth.

There wasn’t a snowball chance in hell this baby belonged to Will. Without a doubt, Niko was my baby daddy, and that was fucked up because if I kept this baby, Will would be his or her uncle. Will was going to be pissed. He wouldn’t care that I found out he and Niko were brothers after the fact. Fuck me. I truthfully didn’t care how Will would feel about the situation because fuck him. He was bogus as fuck, he’d fucked my cousin without a concern for me. I just didn’t want to deal with the drama that was to come from Will. He was a petty ass nigga and liked to act like a bitch when he got in his feelings. Surely this would send him into one of his bitch fits again.

“What nigga?” Zaylee asked with a frown on her lips.

“Fucking Will!” I replied. I was getting more and more aggravated the more I thought about the mess I’d gotten myself into.

“Why would he kill you?” Zaylee continued to pr for answers.

“Biiitch… I’m pregnant by his fucking brother. OH MY, this isn’t happening to me right now!” I started to freak out hearing myself say that shit out loud.

I hadn’t heard from Niko since he fucked me and ended things between us for his funky ass girl. There was no telling how he was going to react to finding out I was pregnant. Shit, for all I know he could try to deny this baby was his. What if he told me to have an abortion? I felt so fucking stupid for being so reckless with Niko by letting him fuck me unprotected. I’d been with Will for years, and never once had I had the reckless desire to let him fuck me raw or cum inside of me. I was cool with being an aunty but I always said in the slim chance that I did pregnant I at least wanted to be married. I always told myself I was only going to have kids by the nigga I married. Now, here I was pregnant by my ex’s brother who I barely knew.

“Ya-” Zaylee started to say, but the soft cries coming from Solana made our attention turn to her. She had tears streaming down her face. “Boo, why are you crying?” Zaylee softly asked, rushing over to Solana, and I followed suit. We took seats on opposite sides of Solana.

“I’m preggnnaaannnttt,” she cried with her lips scrunched up. “I can’t be pregnant.” Solana continued to cry, heaving like she was forgetting to breathe.

“It’s okay, boo. You’re gonna be okay. We’re all in the same boat.” I tried to soothe Solana’s worries as I rubbed her back.

“Yeah, we all in the same boat, but at least our babies will grow up together,” Zaylee reasoned, wiping the tears from her cheeks, and I cut my eyes at her. Their babies might grow up together, but this baby in my stomach, I wasn’t sure if they were going to make it another month.

“But no, I can’t have this baby. No, no, me and Marlo got into it really bad earlier. He said he didn’t want to be with me because he didn’t trust bitches. He said we could be friends.” Solana cried, working herself up again as she explained herself.

“Well, fuck his ass then. You know you have Zaylee and me. We’ll help with the baby,” I said, and Zaylee nodded her head in agreement. I was good with being the fly auntie. I preferred that title over mama anyways.

“No, I’m not bringing another baby in this world to raise on my own,” Solana replied, defeated, but I felt what she was saying. I didn’t want to be a single mom either. That shit was for the birds.

“Maybe you should talk to Marlo and see where his head is, he might have just been mad. I don’t want you to make any rash decisions while you’re emotional,” Zaylee reasoned with Solana. I knew my sister was thinking about her own situation in the past when she wanted an abortion, but things didn’t pan out that way. She carried regrets from her first pregnancy.

“I can’t,” Solana adamantly replied, throwing her head over the back of the couch. “I’m not keeping this baby. I can’t even be that far along. Five or six weeks at most.”
