“Yes,” I moan.

“Good,” he says before slamming into me without warning.

I practically scream as he pounds into me, bypassing any slow build and going straight to powerful, bone-liquifying fucking.

I rub fast, hard circles on my clit while slipping a finger inside myself to furiously pump in time with the dream version of Evren.

“That’s it, my greedy girl. Scream for me. Cum for me.”

At his command, I cum all over my hand, moaning his name.

When the aftershocks subside, I let myself float back to earth. After placing an order for room service, I decide to video chat with Mel.

“You’re in your room,” she deadpans as soon as the video connects and she can see my surroundings.

If I could roll my whole body and not just my eyes, I would.

“I’ll have you know, Miss Judgy, that I am still in bed. I haven’t even gotten up for coffee. No. Coffee. Mellodie. Because I slept in.”

My sister literally shouts with joy, making me drop the phone.

“Jeez, Mel. I almost gave myself a concussion with my phone!”

She starts laughing, a joyous smile planted on her face.

“But you’re relaxing! You never relax. Even on your days off, you’re always eyeballs deep into work stuff.”

She’s not wrong. I tend to hyperfocus and go down a rabbit hole. I wasn’t always a workaholic, but Matt drained my accounts with all his crazy get-rich-quick schemes. After years of floating him, expenses and finances can be triggering and send me spiraling into a hole.

When I smile at my sister, it’s full of gratitude.

“It’s been amazing to just lie here and rot.”

She laughs again before continuing, “How was the mixer?”

“So cringy, buuuuuut…”

“But? But what? Spill it, bitch,” she demands.

I giggle. “I met an extremely sexy and very charming demon at the bar.”

“Don’t hold out, damn it! I am living through you! You aren’t the only one who is going through a damn drought,” she says, exasperated. Not wrong. I think the last date Mel went on may have been to my wedding.

“Ridiculously tall, gorgeous spiraled horns, stunning crimson skin, and a voice that had me clenching my thighs.”

“God. Damn.” She says breathlessly. “Are you gonna see him again?”

”I don’t know. We didn’t exchange numbers or anything. Just chatted at the bar and then said goodnight, but if I ran into him again, I would not be mad about it.”

“I hope you do, and you live your best cruise life.”

A knock at the door pulls me out of the conversation.

“Room service is here. I’m gonna go eat and then head to the casino for a bit.”

“Good luck and have fun. Love you!”

“Love you.”
