War is coming, and you will want to be on my side. Join me or die.
Puff read the email out.
“I’d love to know how Barnabus plans on killing those who don’t want to join him,” Mateo said.
“Idiot,” Peyton said.
“He might be an idiot, but you can guarantee a fair few rogues will join him,” Dane said, frowning a little.
“Let me send this email to everyone,” Puff forwarded it on. “Done, now let me reply to our cousin.” Puff hit reply.
Hey Cousin,
Thanks for finding everything out for us.
You can absolutely come here. Here is the address.
See you soon,
King Cousin.
PS, love this.
He hit send. “I need to go and see Blake. Mateo, should you not be training?”
Mateo looked at the time. “Crap, yes, but so should you.”
“I need to catch up from yesterday and see Blake. I’ll let you give my apologies,” Puff said, grinning.
Mateo laughed and stood up. “Just this once,” he walked around the desk, leant down and kissed Puff. “It’s a good job you’re cute,” he said, pulling back.
Puff laughed. “My hero, now go train.”
Mateo laughed. “No distracting me.”
“I make no promises.”
With a final laugh and another quick kiss, Mateo left the library.
Puff sighed as he watched the door close.
“So… two mates,” Dane commented, grinning at him.
Puff blushed and laughed. “I’m a lucky dragon.”
“Understatement,” Peyton replied, smiling at his little brother.
“How is Cade doing collecting information from his family?” Puff asked him.
“They are sending lots. Oz is looking over what he's received so far. We’re hopeful for the future.”
“That’s good news,” Dane said.
Peyton nodded. “It really is.”
“Right, I need to see Blake. I’ll catch up with you two later,” Puff said, standing up and picking up his tablet. “See you later.”
“Come in,” Blake called.
