Without saying anything, he removed his fingers, then notched the head of his cock against my hole. The way he stretched me caused my eyes to roll back. He easily passed the tight ring; his flared head followed, and he pumped slightly, going deeper each time. His movements got bolder as his length filled me. The sound I made wasn’t something I recognized. Apparently, it was simply my brain’s response to the intensity of having someone whom I loved inside me, sharing himself with me. Once he was fully seated, he began with steady, solid thrusts. Feeling the love between us, we lay there and made love. He filled me physically, but it was not only my body that was full, because my heart was near bursting.
He kissed my shoulder blades and along my neck. It brought tears to my eyes as we took our time, while orgasms built slowly. Our hands were wrapped around my cock, and Eion’s movements moved me in the channel we created with our fists. When his thrusts started to stutter. I knew he was close, as he pulled me tighter and drove himself as deeply as he could. I felt him swell and release inside me, and that was all I needed to fall with him.
I felt sex drunk and happier than I had ever been. No words had been exchanged, only the soft moans of pleasure between us while we connected. This time, I rolled over, Eion turned away from me, I pulled him tight against my chest, kissed the side of his head, and closed my eyes, falling back to sleep. Even with the things we needed to work on, I knew without a doubt this was the man I would marry. It would be him and me taking on the world.
The next few days were spent eating take-out, watching bad TV, and connecting. It was nice to be in a bubble, but both of us were ready to get back to the Sanctuary.
In the car on the way home, Eion looked at me. “What?”
“I loved our little vacation, but now that we are back to reality, I seem to recall you talking about a surprise.”
Shit. I gave him credit for not bringing it up before now, but I had to play this carefully. I glanced his way. “What!?” There wasn’t a chance he would let me get away with that answer, but this gave me time to think. We were about fifteen minutes from the Sanctuary.
He cocked his head at me. “I know you understood what I said. What is this ‘surprise’ you brought up when you came to me the other day?”
“Yeah. Yup. That.” I wasn’t very good at stalling, obviously. “Oh, look, how cute Barnaby is. He was such a good boy the last few days.” He was lying quietly on the seat.
“Yeah. He had a nice weekend. I didn’t need him at all.” He looked at me. “Wait a minute.” We pulled into the Sanctuary, and I let out a sigh of relief. Somehow, I had managed to put him off until we arrived home.
“Holy shit, look at all the work they did across the street. Man, it really sucks we have someone moving in right there. Why couldn’t they have built farther down one way or the other?”
“Yeah, they could have put it somewhere else. Directly across the street from where our new offices will be.” I looked toward where we had parked the trailer, hoping he didn’t do the same thing. “Ready for the surprise?” Before we got out of the limo, I realized I didn’t have a blindfold. “Eion, take off your sweatshirt and put it on backward.”
“You want me to what?”
I smiled. “Surprise time?” He rolled his eyes and did as I asked. Once it was on, I put the hood over his face and took his hand, carefully guiding him out of the car. With my hand around his waist, I guided him about five feet, then told him he could take off his hoodie.
“Surprise.” I made jazz hands for some unknown reason.
He scowled and looked at me. “This is the Sanctuary.”
I turned him around, facing the new property. A long driveway had been grated between the trees, and then there was a large open area at the end, which was where a house would go. The remainder of the trees had been left natural. “This is our home, if you will have it.”
“Angus.”
“Yes, my love?” I smiled at him. “Will you build a home with me on this property?”
“Angus?”
“Yes. That’s me.” I wasn’t sure what to say since he was simply repeating my name.
“Oh, Angus.” He threw himself at me, hugging me tight, kissing me hard. “Oh, hell yes, I will build a house with you.” We got back in the limo, and it drove us up the newly graveled driveway where our fifth wheel was now parked. He bounced in his seat and smiled. “You moved our temporary home up here. You’re amazing. And all mine.”
I puffed up my chest because I knew I had done the right thing. “Yes, Eion. I am yours for as long as you want me.”
“How do you feel about forever?”
“I like how that sounds a lot.” I kissed his temple. I was excited about our future and knew we could get through the bumps as long as we had each other—and our friends.
EPILOGUE
Two years later
ANGUS
I watched Eion walk away from me, and I could tell that he still felt me. I had shown him how much I loved him in our bedroom an hour ago. He looked out over the pasture where we kept our horses. We had been getting ready for our company and I couldn’t keep my hands to myself. I had no regrets even if the floor wasn’t swept, and the bathroom could have used a wipe down.
We had moved out of the fifth-wheel about six months ago. Our house and the buildings at the Sanctuary were log-cabin-style on the outside, while everything inside was state-of-the-art but kept the cabin aesthetic. It felt amazing to be living in the house we had built. Eion and I made sure everything in the house was exactly how we wanted it. This would be where we spent the rest of our lives because we wouldn’t leave the Sanctuary. That was okay with me because with my man and the animals was exactly where I wanted to be.
