My orgasm tears through me in a muffled scream, forcing me to let go of his flesh so I can yell out his name, my back bowing and eyes rolling up in my head as his never ending climax fills me so full I can feel it spilling out of me. His knot is no match for the force of his cum.

We breathe heavily, our chests pumping in the same rhythm as my orgasm subsides. My body still aches and I know it’s only a matter of seconds before the next wave of my heat spikes, but the relief my alpha is bringing, the peace he’s giving me, though fleeting, it has something inside me softening in a way I wasn’t sure I was capable of.

Fuck, if this is what it’s going to be like going into heat while being a part of a pack, I hope I have one every goddamn week.

Three days later

BARON

I lift one of Ves’ waves with one hand, one of Arlo’s curls in the other, my eyes shifting between them as I grin.

“You know, even when you’re happy, you’re still kind of creepy.”

I roll my eyes as my head lolls toward Lennox. “It would creep you out even more if I wasn’t creeping you out right now.”

He shrugs and snuggles closer. “True.”

“Look,” Ves grunts against my chest. “I love you, all three of you, and I’m tickled fucking pink we’re all bonded, but if you don’t shut up and let me get some sleep after the way the last few days played out, I’m going to go check into a room all by myself.”

“Liar,” Arlo says with a giggle, wiggling around until he’s somehow closer to all three of us in this position. “You couldn’t leave us even if you wanted to.”

“Also true.” Lennox throws one of his legs over Arlo’s and rests his bare foot just under Ves’ equally bare ass before giving it a nudge. “But I do love the grumpy afterglow. I’d hate to think getting through your heat and bonding with your pack would remove the stick from this.”

“I took it out before Baron stuck his dick in there. Haven’t put it back yet. Would love to smack you around with it a little bit.”

Lennox barks out a laugh as I chuckle. “So, this is as relaxed as you’re going to get?”

Ves nods against me and lets out a slow, satisfied sigh. “For now.”

I’ll take it.

Laying in this big ass bed with Arlo and Ves sandwiched between Lennox and I, the four of us naked, touching and close while basking in the post-heat glow, it’s pretty fucking great.

Even if none of it seemed to change our silver fox omega’s overall mood in the slightest.

I mean, it has.

In ways that aren’t obvious, anyway. Ways we probably wouldn’t know if we couldn’t feel them.

He’s different, we all are, but it’s nice to know none of us have done some insane one eighty in the personality department.

I didn’t think that’s what happened when you bonded with your scent matches, but the validation is nice.

Ves’ cellphone rings for the hundredth time, and we all groan.

It’s not Calista.

She has her own ringtone, as does everyone else in his family, so we know it isn’t her trying to reach us, but that means it’s probably his dickhead boss blowing him up despite the fact that Ves managed to fire off an email to use his allotted time off for this shit.

“Serial killers don’t take time off for anything,” our omega mumbles as he tightens his arms around Arlo and I. “Butler is going to have a fucking aneurysm if I don’t get back to him soon.”

“Let him,” Lennox growls. “That guy seems like a real bastard. Let him stew in his own bullshit for a while longer.”

“I’d love nothing more, but I can’t.”

But Ves doesn’t move.

Instead, he burrows deeper into us and I can’t help but smile.
