I glanced over at where he lay sleeping, peacefully and lightly snoring. Kyle had assured me he would be doing much better in a day or so and I was counting down the hours.

Something was happening between the two of us and it was rapidly moving away from mere friendship. There was no doubt in my mind that Andrew was having similar feelings. Time would tell if I broke another of my Dom's rules, but I had to admit, if only to myself, that I was beginning to fall in love. I put my thoughts on the back burner and turned my focus back to the game.

Three days had passed since Andrew's punishment, and he'd healed rapidly. I on the other hand was exhausted and dead on my feet from lack of sleep because every time Andrew had moved, moaned, or whimpered, I jolted wide awake.

After showering with Andrew and giving him a blow job, he’d ordered me home to rest. The idea was great, but I was over-tired, unable to sleep, and horny as fuck with no way of relieving myself because Sir had ordered me not to jerk off.

I'd worked throughout the night on the game program which was beginning to look promising, and I was deep in a calculation when a knock sounded at the front door. I stumbled through the house and flung it open. Andrew eyed me up and down. I wore only a pair of boxer briefs and a blue singlet. My curls were everywhere, needed combing and I had quite a bit of facial hair. A shower hadn't been on the agenda for the past two days.

Andrew growled at the sight before him. “Have you had any sleep?”

I shook my head. “I was too wired to sleep so I’ve been working on the new game. I can’t seem to get the algorithms right on Eyely so I might bounce it off you.”

“Have you eaten? It’s obvious you haven’t showered since you left my place two days ago. You’re an ungodly mess.”

“Two days, Sir?”

“Two days.”

I stepped back and Andrew walked past me and headed for the kitchen. After closing the door I followed him.

“How are you, Sir? Coffee?”

"No, I don't want coffee, and don't change the subject. You haven't followed my instructions to rest and sleep."

I felt my face heat with guilt, knowing I hadn’t even made it to my bed.

“I had an idea for the game, Sir.”

I stood with my back against a countertop and Andrew stood looking down at my face. "I understand your work is important, but you need balance in your life, David. I can't be your Dom if you can't respect what I say. You spent three nights watching over me. I saw how exhausted you were and how much you needed sleep. Get dressed, you're coming back to my place. To answer your question, I'm well. The pain is gone, and I only have a couple of sensitive spots on my stomach. I'll wait while you dress."

"I'll grab a quick shower."

“No, you will do as I have asked.”

“Yes, Sir.”

I jogged upstairs and hurriedly shut down my computer before pulling on a pair of sweats. It seemed like I lived in them now I was working from home.

After locking the house, Andrew took my hand and we cut across the lawn to his place. Once inside he pulled me upstairs to the playroom.

“Strip.”

While I did as he’d instructed, he pulled back the covers of the bed. Nerve endings pinged as I wondered what he had in mind.

“Lie down on your back.”

The sheets were cool against my heated body and shivers danced down my spine. Andrew pulled a sheet over me and sat on the edge of the bed. One hand brushed through the tangle of curls.

“Sleep. We’ll talk when you wake.”

I opened my mouth to protest. It was the middle of a workday for me, I couldn’t afford to slack off now I was working for myself. It was important I maintain a routine. The only reason Andrew was home on a weekday was because he’d taken the week off to recover. It wasn’t an excuse for me to neglect what needed to be done.

A finger pressed to my parted lips and when Andrew glared at me, I didn’t argue. Working through the previous day and night with no real breaks had left me exhausted, so a nap would probably do me good.
