No, I wasn’t okay. Not since he brought up the whole threesome thing Friday night, but I couldn’t tell him that because it wasn’t his fault for wanting to try new things. We were teens in high school, so it was only natural to want to experiment. Besides, he said I could refuse and had promised it wouldn’t change a thing.
I kept telling myself that the whole weekend. That I should see his request as a natural curiosity to experiment. But as soon as I did, Jordan’s image interrupted my rational thoughts with his perfect body, beautiful face, gorgeous eyes, lustful lips, and stupidly stunning smile. Yep. There was a whole lot of Jordan that made me feel nothing but insecure.
Jessie was probably getting bored with sleeping with a lame-ass, boring fuck like me and was all but ready to move on.
I mean, when we first got together, he was already experienced, while I was the shy virgin who had to wait a year until he was even ready to have sex. Not that Jessie ever said anything, but what if he thought about it? It wouldn’t be unreasonable for him to think I wasn’t a good fuck. When it came to sex, I guessed you could label me as “vanilla” while Jessie was definitely on the other side of the scale. A part of me believed I was holding him back, which made me worry. I knew he would never say a word, but how many things had I kept away from him? Like this, for example. I would never be able to tell him I worried if he was bored of me sexually.
“What’s the matter, hombrecito? You’re looking grumpier than usual.” Diesel’s voice snapped me back and made me realize I was standing in front of the water fountain and staring. Looking to my right, I found him leaning against the gym wall, smoking.
“I’m not grumpy,” I rumbled, sounding very grumpy. “Aren’t you supposed to be playing volleyball with us?”
Diesel wore a black baseball cap and his typical baggy clothes. One of his legs was pressed against the wall, and I noticed the brand-new sneakers he bought last week. Diesel was fond of sneakers. Absolutely obsessed with them.
Suddenly, I was struck with jealousy by his appearance. If only I were as tall and wide as Diesel, Jessie might’ve been more impressed with me. Instead, I was small, lean, and with a stupid baby face. My lame attempt to look cooler by doing some tattoos failed compared to Diesel’s and Jessie’s cool-as-hell ink. Mine looked out of place. Like a kid playing with stickers. And let’s not forget Diesel’s sex life. Not digging too much into it, the guy had slept with so many women that he was probably a master when it came to it.
Snorting, Diesel took another pull from his cigarette while giving me a once-over.
“And risk looking this cute? Nah. Not really my thing.” He smirked, and I looked down at the childish gym trunks the school provided us with. They were ridiculous, but then again, they only looked ridiculous on me.
He blew a cloud of smoke with a grin on his face. “You know, I can give you some advice if there’s trouble in paradise.”
“What makes you think we’re having problems?” My response was too quick, pretty much giving myself away. “And besides, you’re the last person to advise about relationships. You never went on a date in your life.”
“It’s true that I’m not great in romance,” he said casually.
“To say the least,” I mumbled.
“But I know a thing or two about lovers’ quarrels. Mostly when someone gets in the middle.” He gave me a wicked smile.
“W-what makes you say that?”
Rather than speaking, Diesel pointed with his thumb at the window behind him. I stepped closer and peeked past his big frame to see Jessie busy talking to Jordan. They were laughing, and then Jordan ruffled Jessie’s hair. What the hell?
“I mean, I’m usually the one to come in the middle… so I guess that makes me an expert,” Diesel said as I continued to look at how those ridiculous shorts looked hot on Jordan’s muscular thighs. How the shirt, which seemed too big for me, clung to his solid pecs and mostly, how my boyfriend looked so much better beside him than he did with me. If the smile on Jessie’s face was any indication, he probably thought the same.
“You don’t know shit,” I rumbled, shoving past Diesel as I made my way back to the gym.
Jordan
I wasn’t expecting Shay-Lee to treat me differently after the non-stop sex marathon we’d had this past weekend, but I definitely hoped he would.
He convinced me to call in sick to work, something I never did since getting the shitty job, but I did it this time, only so we could continue fucking. His stamina was out of this world, but thankfully, I managed to keep up.
So, when Monday came, I was pumped to go to school and meet him, except that his Royal Highness Miles Williams Dufort had also returned from a weekend of fashion shows in Paris. Could he be any more pretentious? My bitterness had nothing to do with Miles, who never actually did anything bad to me, but for the lack of attention I received from Shay-Lee, who’d been all over Miles since this morning.
Even now, in gym class, Shay-Lee preferred to pair with the ice prince, who I doubted had even done a sit-up in his life before. I bet he hires people to do them for him. Seriously, what did Shay-Lee even see in the guy? I tried to peek over Jess’s shoulder to watch the two work out together as my skin crawled with jealousy. If you asked me, Miles looked like one of those handbag chihuahuas you saw on Rodeo Drive.
“So, as I was saying, it’s rather hard to find platinum-colored food,” Jess said, bringing me back to our conversation about his new hair color. He looked good. Not as good as Shay-Lee, but good.
“So, what are you going to do about it?” I asked, trying to figure out the difference between platinum and bleached hair.
Jess stretched his arms in the air and folded them behind his neck, which pulled up his shirt to reveal a strip of his lower stomach. His tan skin was covered with tattoos, and his navel was pierced. Shay-Lee would look sexy with one of those.
“I can just go with white food,” he said, interrupting my thoughts again. “But it would be like cheating, wouldn’t it? I mean, there’s a lot of white food. Whipped cream, cream cheese, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate, rice, fish—”
“What are you talking about?” Levi asked as he came to stand beside us, stopping Jess in the middle of naming various white foods.
“Oh, Levi, did you drink enough water?” Jess beamed while Levi’s eyes narrowed on me.
