I was desperate to taste him, so I urged my head forward until his tip touched my thirsty tongue, and my lips closed around his length. Jessie hissed and jerked his hips closer, trying to go deeper. Because of the weird angle, it was hard for me to take all of him, but it wasn’t necessary. One shallow suck later, Jessie’s body shook and trembled as he came in my mouth, making me swallow his load.

Once calmed down from his release, Jessie pulled his softening cock out of my mouth and crashed beside me.

“What are you doing?” I asked, getting into a sitting position.

“Going to sleep?” he murmured, half his face pressed to the pillow.

“We need to shower first.” Going to sleep after sex with all the sweat and cum was simply unhygienic, not to mention the sheets that needed to be changed. “Get up, Kotik, and take a shower while I clean the bed.”

Jessie protested with a grunt and kicked the mattress before getting up in a quick jump.

“Okay, but join me,” he said while scratching his belly button and playing with his navel piercing. I loved those two small stones that were embedded into his flesh.

“I will, once I’m done here,” I shot back, already peeling the bedsheet off. I grabbed a towel from the closet and tossed it at him, which he caught. “Now go. But first, cover yourself with this.”

“Why? Don’t like my ass? I think it’s kinda cute.” He made a gesture of wiggling his butt, which was sexy like the rest of him, especially with the heart tattoo on his right cheek that had my name on it.

I was too stunned to speak when he first showed me that tattoo. He got it for his seventeenth birthday and tried to convince me to do a matching one. Even though I refused, I still loved his very much.

“Of course, I like your ass, but we don’t live alone,” I reminded him of the small fact that we shared a bath with Diesel and Andrei. “So, just put that around your hips, okay?”

Jessie chuckled, knotting the towel around his waist. “I really love you,” he added casually before leaving the room.

My face warmed, and I could feel my ears turning red. It happened to me every time he told me those three little words. Rationally, I knew he meant the words, yet the little voice in the back of my head kept telling me otherwise.

Even after almost three years of being together, my first response to him loving me was always… why?

“You sure you don’t want to eat with us?” Jessie asked Andrei as we walked down the corridor that led to the cafeteria. It was built like a loggia with arches that opened to the schoolyard and overlooked gardens of trees and green lawns.

“Yeah, I’m going to the library,” Andrei answered, moving his bag from one shoulder to the other.

“But aren’t you hungry?” Jessie insisted, moving to stand in front of Andrei while walking backward.

“Leave him alone, Jessie. Can’t you see he’s depressed?” Diesel sneered mockingly, earning a side-eye from Andrei.

“Depressed? Why? What happened?”

“Because that twink bailed on him at the last minute,” Diesel said, giving Andrei a pat on the back.

Andrei pushed Diesel away. “He isn’t a twink. And I’m not depressed. I just need to study for a test.”

On the first day of school, Andrei met a guy, and I saw them talking in the parking lot after detention. From the glimpse I managed to catch, they were totally flirting. I think they’d planned on eating lunch yesterday, but then the guy blew him off at the last minute. What a jerk. It must have been a blow to Andrei’s ego. Not that he’d ever admit it, but he was used to guys falling at his feet. He had that “perfect boyfriend” thing written all over his handsome face, so he never had a problem getting whoever he wanted. I doubt he’d been stood up before.

The cafeteria was packed with students, so after grabbing our food, we took our lunch and ate it outside. Diesel ditched us pretty early on, saying he wanted to go and sleep somewhere. I had no idea how he planned to finish the school year when it had only just started, and he was already skipping classes to sleep. I guessed he didn’t care, which was a shame because education was important.

We picked a nice spot to sit under the shade of a giant oak tree, providing a view of the campus landscape.

“I’m thinking of buying Puma a new collar. I saw one with flowers that I think she’ll love,” Jessie said as we sat down.

“That’s nice. Where did you see it?” After handing him the sandwich we bought, I opened the package of baby carrots I got without Jessie’s notice and placed some on the bench between us so he’d eat them. He wasn’t a fan of vegetables. I wasn’t a big fan either, but growing up, I’d been taught to eat what I was given.

“I saw it in the pet shop next to Tish’s place. I’ll go there tomorrow after my shift.” It was a bit hard to understand his words while his mouth was busy chewing, but after years of eating with him, I found a way to connect the sounds with actual words.

“Don’t speak with your mouth full,” I said, even though I knew he never listened. I sounded like Babushka, but it was for his own good. Fuck. That made me sound even more like her.

“Oh, there’s Jordy.” Jessie put down his sandwich, which was odd, considering how he’d prefer to lose a finger over losing a meal, and jumped with his hand up in the air.
