I spent a while scrolling down Instagram. The reel I posted with Blanc yesterday morning hit almost half a million views, and I answered some comments. I’d never expected I’d have as many followers as I did. I started this account to upload images with Blanc, and it’d just grown more and more with each post. It was nice, and I couldn’t lie and say I didn’t like it.

My lips curved in a smile as I heard the door to the room open, and I decided to be a little naughty.

“You wrecked my ass last night,” I teased without looking back. Maybe it would get Andrei back in bed with me.

“Oh, did I? Good to know.”

I froze and dropped my phone to the pillow at the sound of Diesel’s cynical voice and turned around to find him standing by the door with nothing but a towel knotted around his waist. I watched as water dripped down his tan skin and swallowed my embarrassment before I dared to look him in the eyes.

“Ah… Sorry. I thought you were Andrei.”

He snorted before he dropped his towel to the floor and stood in front of me, butt naked.

“What the hell, dude.” I looked away as fast as I could.

“What?” he sneered. “You had no problem watching me last night.”

What the actual fuck?

“Well, yeah. But this is completely different.” I heard the floor crack, and I could feel him stepping closer.

“Is it?” he asked. His voice was low and mocking.

“Yes.” I turned to look at him. Thankfully, he’d put on a pair of black boxer briefs. “It is.”

“Once a slut, always a slut.” His eyes roamed over my body with distaste. My chest was naked and covered with marks Andrei left on me. Some were old, while others were new, and I loved each and every one of them.

“When have I ever been a slut?” I bit back. I was tired of this guy’s shit.

Once again, he snorted like the asshole he was and looked down on me. His eyes were so dark and evil you couldn’t read through them. They were devoid of mercy but not empty of emotions. They spoke of hate, violence, and wrath. How could Andrei be so close to someone as dark and cruel as Diesel?

“From the moment you met my boy and made him fall for that perfect boy act of yours.” He tilted his head. “But I don’t buy this shit you’re trying to sell. And soon enough, he’ll get his face out of your ass and see it for himself.”

I got up from the bed and stood in front of him. We were around the same height, but he was wider. Definitely bigger. Still, I didn’t allow it to stop me from standing up to him.

“I never pretend to be perfect.”

“Don’t make me laugh.”

“Why do you hate me so much?” I had to ask.

“Because you’re a piece of rich shit who’s wasting his time.” He wasn’t smiling anymore. I already knew how easy it was to get him riled up. He proved he was a wild animal more than once. Easily provoked. Always ready to bare teeth and bite. That’s what made him so different from Andrei; if anything, he was the one wasting Andrei’s time, not me.

“It sounds to me like you’re jealous.” I raised my chin and gave him a sly smile like the ones he always gave me. “Is that what this is all about? You’re pissed at me because you’re in love with him yourself?”

“Shut your fucking mouth,” he rasped through gritted teeth.

I had no idea if this was the case, but I was getting to him, which was good enough for me.

“Sounds to me like I’m right.” I crossed my arms over my chest and tilted my head. “No wonder you hate me so much, then. I would have hated myself too if I were you.”

His nostrils flared, and his eyes raged with anger, and the next thing I knew, I was pinned on the bed with his hand around my neck. I panicked as air failed to reach my lungs and tried to kick him away from me, but it was pointless. The guy was strong. Way too strong.

I wrapped my hands around his arm, feeling how his muscles tensed as he tightened his grip on my neck. I was about to scream when he brought his face so close I could feel his breath dancing on my lips.

“Andrei is my brother. My flesh and blood,” he said in a bone-chilling voice. “If you ever spew such nasty shit again, I’ll murder you.”

His hands were off me as quickly as they were on me, and he was out of the room before I could even recall what had just happened. I moved my hand over my neck, still in shock, as I tried to calm my breath.
